Chapter 9~Newly news

KAYLAS P.O.V.

I woke up on Monday morning tired, very tired, Ethan and I were up talking till 12:30 this morning, we lost track of time. I got up, did my usual routine, showered, got into my school uniform brushed my hair and teeth then said good bye to my brothers and my mum, Cody and Justin are staying or a week because Cody has 'special' news. Once I said goodbye and left, to find Ethan outside sitting on the outdoor seating chairs at my front door "hey!" I say kissing him hello. "Hey, you ready for school?" He says as we start to walk down the driveway. We start to walk to school, it is a 15 minute walk from our houses, seeing as we were neighbours. We walked hand-in-hand up the street until something surprised me "I have to go to the principals office today" he said without a smile. "what, why?" I wondered "ok so you know in maths how we have that strict teacher Mr James, well he absolutely hates me, I get into trouble for nothing from him and now he's suspending me" he explained "what! For how long?"
"Well luckily it's only for 4 days, starting tomorrow, I'll drop you off outside the gates and pick you up at the same place, seeing as I'm not allowed on school grounds and then we can both go back to my house after"
"I hate that mr James" is all that I could say
"I'm gonna miss you"
"I'll text you in class" I smile at him
We then get to school as start to walk up the gates. "Hey can we go to the music room I want to tell you something important." He asks
"Sure I don't see why not we still have 15 minutes till the bell" I say as we walk up to the music room

We walk through two sound proof doors and Ethan straight away picks up a guitar, no one else was in the room so i imagine a reserved it for just us. "What's up?" I ask
But he just starts playing the guitar, then he starts singing

He kissed me then I heard unexpected news...

"Chris and I have decided to audition for The Voice Kids 2014, separately, and well we've both gotten through to the actual, like TV auditions, with real famous singers"
"Why didn't you tell me you could sing?"
"Because I wanted it to be a surprise, I begged my mum to ask your mum so that you could come with me and my family"
"OMG REALLY?! We're going to Sydney!"
"Yep"
"OMG!" I pulled him in for a hug.
"Your an amazing singer, what your audition song?"
"Give me love by Ed Sheeran, do you want me to sing it to you?"
"Omg of course!"

Then the bell went for class.
"I'll see you in TAS okay?" I said to him as he went off to the principals office, before kissing me goodbye.

The day went pretty slow seeing as we had TAS last and it was the class I was actually looking forward to. I waited out side for Ethan to come up the stairs. And finally it came, the same sound I heard when I first saw his face, he came up the stairs with all the other boys around him, he then came up to me and kissed me. Then I remembered that no one knew we were dating when everyone around us started  'ohoohing and ahhing' at us. Then the teacher came up we walked in and we sat next to each other at the back of the room. Ethan was always the one talking, "Guys get back to work!" The teacher yelled at us. Everyone looked back at their screens and Ethan quickly kissed me so that no one was watching, but when he kissed me, I just didn't want to let go, and neither did him. And that's when the whole class started looking at us "stop mating in the middle of class!" I hear someone yell. We pulled away as he whispered my ear "I'll get ya tonight" we both smiled at each other, then went back on to doing our work.

After school we walked home together hand-in-hand, again.
"So when do we leave for Sydney?" I pipe up.
"Two weeks" he says with a cheesy smile on his face.
"For how long?"
"One week but the least and 10 if i get to the grand final"
"What about school?"
"All of the contestants and their families get tutored together"
When we reached Ethan's house we went inside, I've never been inside his house before, it had family photos everywhere. "My parents don't get home till around 5 and Tahls should be home in about 30 minutes"  we went straight up to his room and dropped our bags and slipped off our shoes. We then went down stairs and watched some TV and ate some Doritos with salsa.

The door started to open. "That will be Tahls" Ethan said

"Hey Ethan!" Tahlia said coming through the door

"Hey Tahlia, can you come and sit down please" he said patting the couch in the middle of me and him.

"Tahlia" he started
"This is Kayla, she's my new girlfriend, I haven't told mum and dad yet so you have to keep it a secret. I'm going to tell them this afternoon. Okay"
"Okay, so you've broken up with that Rose"
"How do you know about Rose?"
"I have my ways, plus I saw her in the park with some other friends and she was real bossy!" We all chuckled a little. Then she turned around and faced me "hi" she smiled at me
"Hi" I said back. "Tahlia go up stairs and play your iPad" Ethan says trying to get her away. She goes up stairs and we sit on the lounge watching TV.

"Hey" he says out of no where
"Hey" I say back kissing him on the lips
We fell back kissing on the lounge, laying down and kept on going. "ETHAN!" I hear an annoyed voice say. We pull away and sit back up. His parents were there staring at us. "Umm I should go" I say going upstairs
"No, K" Ethan says to me.
I upstairs grab my bag and slip my shoes on. I start to go down stairs and hear yelling. "ETHAN FIRST YOU GET SUSPENDED THEN WE FIND YOU HORIZONTAL ON THE COUCH WITH A GIRL KISSING!!" I hear I imagine his dad say
"Look, I'm sorry about the suspension thing, the teacher hates me! And about Kayla, I love her she's my girlfriend I was going to tell you tonight."
"Look I'm happy about you and Kayla it's just that next time you get a girlfriend tell us before we find you guys mouth to mouth on our family couch! And your suspension, we've decided that your grounded for a week!" I imagine I hear his mum say.
I then go downstairs "goodbye" I say to Ethan and his parents "no, Kayla is it you can stay, we're very sorry just a little shocked!" His mum says to me "thank you" I say putting down my bag sitting next to Ethan.

Sorry if There's spelling mistakes or something doesn't make sense. Its normally auto correct and I'm sure most of you have had that problem before so yeah....
