She just didn't feel anything for any of those boys that had the balls to ask her out. That was her life, straight A's, perfect friends and perfect family... Until that night...
Chapter 1
Gisele Hastings is from one of the founding familes of Mystic Falls. She is the only child.She is best friends with Elena Gilbert, Bonnie Bennett, and Caroline Forbes. The four of them grew up together. Gisele is the head cheerleader. She is one of the most popular girl in her high school. Guys wanna date and girls wanna be her. She had it all, except a boyfriend. She had a perfect family, good grades, best friends, and also the perfect looks. Everything started to fall apart on the night of the bonfire party. On that night Gisele's parents invited Elena's whole family to come over the Hastings for dinner. But then Gisele and Elena decided to ditch dinner night to attend the bonfire party. After the party both Gisele and Elena conviced thier parents to fetch them back to the Hastings for their parents to continue thier conversation. Their parents fetched them in one of the Hastings cars, a black colour Toyota Alphard. Gisele's dad was driving and her mum was sitting next to her dad while Elena's parents were sitting behind with Elena and Gisele. They were driving on wickery bridge, when suddenly a dog ran out so it forced Gisele' dad to suddenly brake and made them drive into the water.
A few hours later
Gisele's POV
I woke up in a white colour room, feeling sore all over my body. Then suddenly it all came back to me in a rush, then a doctor came into the room. 'How are you feeling, miss Hastings?' What happened to my parents? Oh my gosh! What happened to Elena and her parents? i asked. Then the doctor said ' I'm really sorry miss Hastings, but your parents and Elena gilbert's parents are dead.' What??? i yelled How is that possible? i asked 'I'm sorry, but it's a miracle you and Elena Gilbert survived this' said the doctor. Then I started sobbing.
Elena's POV
The moment I woke up I started feeling sore. Then everythings came back, the accident. Then I was told that mine and Gisele's parents died in the accident but me and Gisele survived. They also said that it's a miracle that both me and Gisele survived this. But I didn't hear anything else because I was already crying by that time.
One Week Later
Gisele's POV
Today is the day for my parents and also Elena's parent's funeral or you could say memorial. I came back of the hospital three days ago, and now here I am in my room preparing to the funeral. I am in a black colour dress that is above my knee, black colour heels, and last but not least the braclet my mother gave me a year ago. I suddenly feel so alone, the house feels empty. I remember all those times we were laughing together in this house, but now they are gone. they won't be coming back. I will never see them again.
Elena's POV
I came back home three days ago. Me and my brother Jeremy are very sad. We are also very distant nowadays. I feel so bad. It's like it's my fault that my parents are dead. I'm in my room. I'm wearing a black colour dress that has layers starting from the waist. It reached my knee. I am also wearing black colour heels. I miss my parents.
Gisele's POV
I just reached the funeral. I haven't talked to any of my friends or anyone else ever since I went home, and that is already like three days ago. The only person I actually talked to was Auntie Liz, Caroline's mum and also a very good friend of my mother. Everyone in this town is here, is in this room. I'm sitting in the front row, which is for family and close friends. Auntie Liz, Caroline, and Bonnie were already sitting there. They each huged me and tells me that they are sorry. Looking around, almost everyone in this room is giving me sympathy looks. I hate it. Even though I understand and feel kinda thankful does mean I like it.
Elena's POV
I just arrived at the funeral. I feel uncomfortable. When i walk in, I recived many sympathy looks. I just gave them a small smile. Jeremy just walked straight to the front row. Which now sat Aunt Liz, Caroline, Bonnie, and Gisele. They gave Jeremy small hugs and huged me too. Me and Gisele huged each other too. Then we have to go up the stage and talk. Then we sang a song. Then most of them said sorry to me, Jeremy, and Gisele.
Gisele's POV
After we took turns going up the stage to talk. We then sang. Then most of them said sorry to me, Elena, and Jeremy. Then I left and head home.
Elena's POV
After Gisele left, aunt Liz, Caroline, and Bonnie all left. Me and jeremy head home too. We are expecting Aunt Jenna, my mother's sister the day after tomorrow. She wanted to attend the funeral today, but she can't because she has to settle everything over there before moving in with us to become our legal guardian.
A week later
Gisele's POV
It's already 10:00pm. Tomorrow is the first day of school for this year. I'm feeling nervous. I will have to face everyone tomorrow. All the students, and teachers. I guess it's time for me to sleep now.
Elena's POV
It's 10:15pm. Tomorrow is the first day of school. I'm scared. But I guess i will just have to sleep now.
