This story is about a 17 year old girl, Maia, who's not your average girl. Maia is very quiet, because of horrible things that happened to her in the past. She's also bullied everyday by the mean girls of the school, Richie and Dakota, and doesn't ever speak up for herself. Maia has one friend, Abby, Abby has been by her side ever since kindergarten. She never sees Maia getting bullied though , no one does. One day 18 year old, Jared, the schools bad boy. Finds Maia all upset and alone he instantly wants to help Maia, through all her tough situations. He feels like he needs to be her knight and shining armor.
