“Here it is, Abu,” Aladdin said looking at the paper in his hands and then at his monkey, Abu. “This is Dorm Building #4.” Aladdin stepped into Dorm Building #4, which was also known as the Freshman Building, and was stationed in the West Wing, Second Floor. Aladdin watched fellow freshman students bustling around the common room and he headed to the left side of the room where all the boys’ dormitories were.
Just as he was about to climb the stairs, a big guy with a dark ponytail shoved Aladdin out of his way growling, “Out of my way, boy.” Aladdin glared at the guy and rubbed his shoulder where the dark ponytailed guy shoved him. He saw a short stubby kid running after the dark ponytailed guy with a goofy grin on his face and a considerably large nose.
“Wow, Gaston,” the kid shouted with amazement and adoration, “great hit! The way you just pounded into that guy was just amazing!”
“Wasn't it, Lefou?” Gaston smirked and looked back at Aladdin. “What are YOU looking at?!” Aladdin just turned around and headed back upstairs while Abu was screeching angrily at Gaston, shaking his little monkey paw.
“What a welcome,” Aladdin groaned to himself. He climbed the stairs to the second floor and as soon as he entered, a guy in a funny purple uniform with one large hoop earring on his left ear leapt to Aladdin along with a large gang of followers. Two of the followers grabbed Aladdin by both arms and the guy in the funny purple uniform approached Aladdin, indicating that he was the leader of the gang.
Abu screeched in anger at the gypsy men taking Aladdin hostage and one of the men grabbed Abu in a large bag to shut him up. “Well well well, what have we here?” the guy asked with a nasty smirk, swaying back and forth on his heels playing with his fingers as if thinking up of a cruel punishment for Aladdin.
“Trespassers!!” shouted one of the followers.
“Spies!!” another shouted.
“What? I’m not a spy-“ Aladdin protested but was cut off quickly when another follower covered Aladdin’s mouth with a bandana.
“Don’t interrupt me!” the leader shouted wagging his finger right in Aladdin’s face as if lecturing him. “You were very clever to have found out about our room. Unfortunately, you won’t live to tell the tale-“
“Clopin!!” a voice shouted. Both Aladdin and the guy in the purple uniform, Clopin, looked to see a scrawny looking kid wearing a white toga standing there in gladiator sandals. “Don’t hurt the guy! He’s probably our third roommate!”
“Now look here, you,” Clopin said wagging his finger now in Hercules’ face, “you may be a demi-god but you are no match for the King of Truands!”
“You mean PRINCE,” Hercules stated as he rolled his eyes at Clopin. “Anyways, take that off of the guy. He’ll suffocate.” Clopin eyed Hercules and snatched the bandana off of Aladdin’s mouth. Clopin then ordered his gypsy cronies to let go of Aladdin and Abu, and they did. “So you live here on the second floor, too?”
“Yeah,” Aladdin said catching his breath as Abu hopped back onto Aladdin’s shoulder, terrified of the gypsy men. Clopin saw the fear in Abu’s eyes and he gave a devilish grin to Abu, scaring the monkey even more. Abu clung onto Aladdin’s neck and shook in fear. “Thanks.”
“No problem,” Hercules replied with a warm smile. “Clopin loves to go out of his way to welcome his roommates. He did the same to me, too. By the way, my name is Hercules, but you can just call me Herc.”
“I’m Aladdin, but you can just call me Al,” Aladdin smiled. “So uh, you’re some sort of a demi-god?”
“Yeah,” Hercules shrugged, “my dad is Zeus but…well, things happened when I was a baby and I’m technically not a god anymore. What about you? Where’d you come from?”
