"Jessica?" said Joseph bending down.
"It's my entire fault" I cried
"no, no, it's just that Connor is...afraid" said Joseph.
I didn’t understand "some werewolves Jess, don't make it through the process some die because of the pain is so terrible" said Joanna.
"So he won’t do it because he's afraid of me dying?" I ask Joanna nodded.
"I won’t die" I whispered.
I got up like a pregnant women and walk outside were Connor was sitting I heard him sniffle I knew he was crying.
I walk outside rubbing my hand around my stomach. "Connor" I whispered he didn’t respond.
"Please, Connor try to understand" I whispered.
I wrap my arms around him he got up "understand what...what take my chances and see if you’re gonna survive or not....I lost you once Jessica I’m not gonna lose you again" he said tears flowed down his face.
"But you won’t" I said "how do you know?" that stumbled me.
"Either way I’m gonna die anyway" I said. He growl and pounded his fist into the bricks of the house.
"They'll have to kill me before they kill you or the baby....I'll take you some place far away from here where you'll be able to have the baby someplace where you'll be safe where it'll be safe" said Connor.
"And do you know where that is?" I ask softly Connor was crying.
"Here....in your arms" tears strolled down my eyes he hugged me tightly.
"You need blood don't you?" I ask softly "no I need you" he whispered. "Go hunt for a while Connor" I said. He transformed into a wolf and hunted.
The whole night I sat under the stars rubbing my stomach and once in a while calling it Cara or Tyler and saying "I love you".
Connor laid down next to me he lick my face. "Oh, Connor you look so much better" I said breathlessly.
He went back to human form and he smiled. "Connor! Jessica! Come inside!" said Josephina in a panic.
We rush inside to the living room. We saw a group of people sitting on our couch dress in red and black two boys’ one girl.
"The Imprint clan" whispered Connor.
"Seems like we meet Jessica Penn" said the girl she had dark black hair with curls in it. She was skinny very skinny and her voice was pure liquid soft.
She was almost too soft that you can't hear. I hid behind Connor "congratulations’ Connor you’re the new clan leader" said the girl.
"Thank you, Elizabeth" said Connor not in a happy mood.
"Let's see the human" said the boy his name was Steven.
Connor held my hand as I came out "you'll be a wonderful mother" said Steven his eyes glowed red. I didn’t smile I was waiting for someone to throw the first punch.
"She not allowed to be human giving birth to a half breed" said Elizabeth. "She'll be changed, were planning it" said Josephina.
"Vampires and werewolves in the same house?" question Elizabeth.
"They help us during the defeat of Mark we own them our lives" said Connor.
Elizabeth approach Connor her claws rip threw his skin he collapsed on the floor. Josephina held me close "there was no reason for that" growled Joseph.
"We don't care for the likes of you" shouted Elizabeth.
"She cannot be human she must die!" said Elizabeth my heart went out of control.
"I WILL CHANGE HER!!!!!" shouted Connor in pain "I will make her me" he cried tears strolled down my eyes.
"She has till the ten week of the baby's birth if she is not transformed....your family will end" said Elizabeth.
"Why are you like this?" I cried.
"I don't make the rules...I just follow them" said Elizabeth to my face I was never so scared.
They all left I was scared to even move. Connor lay on the floor bleeding while Joanna and Joseph tried to help him up. Not really the ideal people to help a wounded person. "It's my fault" I cried.
"No Jessica it's not your fault that they don’t live in this century" said Joseph.
They help Connor to the kitchen "minor cuts he'll heal" said Josephina. I felt lifeless the only words that came out of my mouth is "now, now you have to change me" I whispered.
"I have no choice before the birth of the baby I will do it" he said.
