Dylan's POV:
I was driving home from a late night workout.
"I can't wait to get home," I said to myself, smiling.
I wanted to go home because I wanted to see my family. I have twins; one son and one daughter. His name is Chuck and her name is Sonya. I have 3 dogs. The first one is Sarah; Siberian Huskey. The second on is Alby; English Labrador Retriever. Finally, Minho; Border Collie. Then, I have my wonderful husband, Newt. My family is basically my world.
It was 6:30. I pulled into our drive way and turned off the car. I grabbed my duffle bag and got out of the car. I walked past the living room window and saw Newt sitting on the floor, playing, with Chuck and Sonya. The dogs saw me and ran to the door. My heart was all fuzzy now.
I opened the door and all eyes were on me. The dogs were licking my hands and wagging their tails like crazy.
"Daddy!" the twins yelled. They both crawled over to me with big smiles.
I got on my knee and scooped them up in my arms.
"Hey, I missed you guys!" I said.
Newt got up and walked over to us, smiling.
"Hello, love," he said in his beautiful british accent.
"Hey, babe," I said, smiling.
We both leaned in and pecked or lips together.
"They missed you," Newt said, motioning to the twins.
I looked down at the two bundle of joys in my arms and smiled. I kissed the tops of their heads. This reminds me of the day we adopted them.
Newt and I were laying on the couch, just watching, So I Married An Ax Murderer. Then, my phone rang. I picked it up and it was the hospital. They said that the lady carrying our babies is going into labor. We threw on some clothes and ran to the car. We sped off to the hospital and didn't get stopped by a cop once.
When we got there, we had to wait in the waiting room till she had the children.
About 2 hours later, our beautiful children were born. We went to go see them and they were cuter than we imagined. The doctor gave Newt, Sonya and he gave me, Chuck.
"Do you want an open adoption?" I asked the woman.
"No. They're all yours," she said.
"You sure?" Newt asked.
"Ya. I just want them to be happy," she said.
Newt and I looked at each other and smiled, then looked down at the tiny humans in our arms.
I snapped out of my thoughts by a light pat on my face by Sonya. I looked down at her and smiled.
"Hey, I'm going to take a shower, then we can watch a movie. Sound good?" I said.
"Sounds good," Newt said, "but. Before you take your shower, could you help me put them in their pajamas?"
"Ya," I said, walking to Chuck and Sonya's room.
I placed them on their changing table and had Newt watch them. I went to their dresser and pulled out a striped blue onesie and then pulled out the same one, but pink. I put the pink one on Sonya and Newt put the blue one on Chuck.
When we were done, we picked up the twins and put them in the living room.
"You'll watch the twins and I take a shower?" I asked, shrugging.
"Sure," Newt said sitting on the floor again.
*Skip shower*
I dried off and put on my, 'I put a ring on it' t-shirt and my black 'Hubby' pajama bottoms.
I stepped out of the bathroom and went out into the living room.
"You look cute," Newt said grinning.
"I'm always cute," I replied.
"Sure you are," Newt said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "Can you watch them now?"
"Sure. Are you just putting your pajamas on?" I asked.
"Ya. I'll be right back," he said.
He went to our room and closed the door. Then, I walked to the TV and picked out a movie. It has to be family appropriate, because Chuck and Sonya are going to be watching it with us. I saw Shrek, Despicable Me, How To Train Your Dragon, Hotel Transylvania, and Tangled. Sadly, none of those movies caught my attention.
"What's in the DVD player?" I asked myself.
I opened the DVD player and saw, Big Hero 6.
"Yes!" I yelled.
"Yes what?" I heard Newt asked.
I turned around and laughed. He was wearing his 'He put a ring on it' t-shirt with his blue 'Hubby' pajama bottoms.
"What?" He asked, giggling.
"We're wearing the same thing," I said.
"Oh, so they can have matching onesies, but we can't wear the same pajamas?" He asked.
"Cause they're actually twins!" I said, laughing.
We ended up laughing for a good minute. When we were done laughing, we picked the twins up from the floor and sat on the couch. Newt, Sonya, Chuck, and I were sitting in one corner of the couch; I was in the corner with Chuck on my lap and Newt sat right next to me with Sonya. Then, on the other end of the couch, our three dogs were sleeping on the last two cushions.
Newt got situated next to me, cuddling up to me. So, Sonya was sitting on Newt's leg and sitting on my leg.
I picked up the remote and pushed play. The screen showed a sky view of the movie scene and the movie began.
We were laughing during the movie and just enjoyed our family time. By the middle of the movie, I heard light snores. I looked down and saw not only the twins sleeping, but Newt also. I chuckled and tilted my head back onto the couch cushion. I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
