For the next couple of days I still, for the life of me couldn't get that name out of my head. It was just repeating over and over, and over again. James Rain, James Rain, James Rain. It was really getting annoying!
I was just about to go over to Cassie's house for a sleepover because we haven't had one in ages. I was packing my things when my phone starts to ring. I look at the caller ID and it said Cassie's name with a picture of us both on our year 7 graduation night. I smile at the memory and answer my phone.
"Hey, girly! I was just finishing up my packing I'll be there soon."
"Yeah that's all good. I was just calling to see if you would like to go out for dinner tonight because my mum can't be bothered cooking." She said with a laugh
"That's fine. where are we going?"
"To this new pub that they opened. Its called the 'Blue Gums'. I've heard people say that its really good" {This is actually my favourite pub that we go to all the time!}
"Sounds great. I'm looking forward to it." I said as I packed the last item into my bag and zipped it up.
"I'm on my way now I'll see you soon"
"Ok see ya" Cass said as I heard the line get cut.
I raced down to the front door, shouting a quick goodbye to my mum. I grabbed my keys, threw my bag onto the back seat and I was on my way.
*** At Cassie's House***
I finally arrived at Cassie's house and when I got there I found that she was standing on her front porch waiting for me. As soon as the car was turned off and I climbed out and was bombarded with a massive hug that nearly knocked me off of my feet.
"Oghf, Cass you do know that oxygen is important right? Well at this moment I'm not getting any" I said as she squeezed the life out of me.
"Sorry, sorry. I was just so excited for you to come over, it has been way to long!" She replied slowly stepping away from me.
"I know I think that the last time we has a sleepover was the time that we had Cuba with us. The weather was crazy and there was a storm down by the beach but we didn't know because it was fine here. We went down to the beach to go swimming and it was freezing."
"Haha yeah I remember that. Cuba ran so fast to the water and dove in, we thought that he was crazy." she said as we both cracked up laughing at the memory of our crazy friend.
"Just let me get my bags out of the car and we can talk some more when e get inside."
"Oh yeah let me help with that."
"Thanks Cass, could you please just grab my pillow I've got the rest." I said shutting the boot of the car and making sure to lock it before we went inside.
When we got inside we went straight to her room. Her room is mostly white with a faint grey feature wall behind her bed. The bed is a double bed that sits quite low to the ground, on the headboard it has a pink flower pattern that has vines connecting them. She has a bedside table that is all white but it has a marble look to it and there are succulents sitting there in glass vases. She has a purple/pink like structure that goes from behind the headboard and goes all the way up to the roof. On the ends of it there are fairy lights and there is a desk in the opposite corner. (Picture hopefully, above)
"Wow Cass I love what you have done with your room! It looks amazing, not my colour but, amazing."
"Thanks Lil, I only had it done last month. I had to sleep in my sisters room while they were doing it." She slightly grimaced at the last part.
