"Hey! Mike!" I swung around as one of my closet friends, Jeremy stood I front of me with his hand out. We greeted in typical masculine way, shaking hands but not.
"Jeremy, what's up?" I said as he took a step back onto the side walk, and I followed him.
"Mason and a couple more people- plus myself- are going out tonight. Wanna come? It's no fun with out good old Drake." He laughed and punched my arm, jokingly.
"Yeah, why not. After football practice though, and can't skip anymore or I'll be knocked off the team." I nodded and put my hands in my pockets. I go to turn around but get caught off guard by some freshmen, and their stupid surveys to gain popularity.
"Excuse me, Sir! Mind if we ask you for a survey?" The first one asked energetically.
"Yeah... Whatever." Unless you say yes, they attack you one after another.
"What do you think of LGBT+ members, you know gays, lesbians, bisexuals-"
"Yeah, I know what LGBT is. They're-" I began to speak as Mason and Carter pop up behind me.
"They're all faggots. Get a life, or a girlfriend, kid." Mason said as he turned and kissed Carter.
"Oh, thank you for answering the survey...." The second kid said as they walked away, crumpling the paper.
"Really dude?" Jeremy yelled at Mason. "Remember when we had to do those surveys?"
"Yeah, but God put us on this earth to marry, and have kids..." He smirked, looked over to Carter as he put his arm around her waist, then walked away down the sidewalk toward Dragonwood school.
"I agree, he needs to cut them some slack." I said to Jeremy.
"Yeah, and actually I have nothing against the LGBT group..." He said as he looked down.
"Me either, just don't say that to the rest of the guys."
"Yeah." He let out a forced laugh, "see you after school. I don't know if I'm going to that whole party thing."
"I might not, I don't know. I'll text you." I said as we walked out seperate ways through the school.
