"Guy’s! I have enough money! My job paid off!" Ashlie shouted with a big ass smile on her face. "You sure you wanna do this dude?" Ysabella proclaimed.
"Yes. I need to."
It was early October. Ashlie has been saving up all of her money so she can fly to visit the one that she loves. Her heart beats fast for this boy. Her feelings for him are so unexplainable. But real. His name is Cross. She was crazy for him. She would constantly smile whenever she heard about him, and talked to him. Of course though, she had her insecurities. Afraid she wasn't good enough. So she had to hug him. Feel the electricity between them.
Ashlie sat down and frantically typed a message to Cross. She was so excited but nervous at the same time. She simply typed "Cross. My love, I finally got enough money to fly up to see you! When do you want to do this? I can't wait to be able to hold you, kiss you, and show you how much I love you."
She waited for a reply. There was nothing. She sat there concerned and was wondering if she was losing him. She started to feel sick. She walked away to do her hair still wondering what has happened. She types him again.
"Cross...?"
Nothing. She was flabbergasted. She was just sitting there white as a ghost. He NEVER ignores her messages. Ever. Her thoughts were everywhere. Is he okay? Did I annoy him? Freak him out? What if I'm not what he wants anymore? She types him again after a half an hour went by.
"I’m sorry if I did something? Are you okay? I love you...."
Still nothing. She finally gave up and just finished putting on her makeup and doing her hair. By the time she applied her sweet smelling perfume, she heard a knock on the door. Who could be at the door? She is a 20 year old living in the middle of nowhere. She was afraid at first. As she slowly approached the door, she quietly said, "H-Hello?" She slowly opened the door. The person on the outside flung the door open and grabbed her. She was very scared. She had NO idea who this was. But after a long hug, she took on step back and saw. It was him. She saw his sparkly brown eyes that just made her melt. Her heart was racing and she couldn't help but to smile and blush horribly.
"C... Cross. I can't believe it's you."
She went to go for another hug but he stopped her. She was confused. He chucked as he look at the ground pulling her close. The more close she got to him, the more she realized how short she was compared to him. She was still confused, but she kept quiet. He intertwined one hand with hers, and his other hand caressed her right blushing cheek. She smiled starring into his gorgeous eyes. She still was clueless as to what he was doing. His hand slid down to her chin and put it up a tad bit. He slowly parted his lips as he got closer. Her heart was racing even more. She was afraid, but comforted at the same time. Cross slowly and gently connected their lips holding a long lasting kiss. As they slowly broke the kiss they both smiled. Just left breathless. The electricity was unbearable. They knew they were meant for each other. Nothing could ruin this moment. Until then. Ashlie heard another female voice. That female voice sounded familiar. Ashlie finally realized who it was. It was her bitchy mother. She quickly grabbed Cross and took them both inside and locked the door. Ashlie strongly despised her mother. They never did get a long in her child hood. And Ashlie hated how her own mother cheated on her father.
-BANG BANG BANG-
"Damn it!" Ashlie thought. Her mother still was at the door of total 10 minutes of silence. Ashlie finally gave in and opened the door. Of course. Her mother was drunk. As always.
"Mom, you need to leave. Now. You're drunk. Go!" Ashlie sternly said.
Her mother just stood there. Looking half dead. Ashlie just closed the door and apologized to Cross. Cross hushed her and held her in his embrace. They just stood there in the middle of the living room. Holding each other. Something they've wanted to do for years. Feeling each other’s heart beats was perfect music to them. Cross took one step back as his hand slid down Ashlie's arm to her hand and he smiles.
