I remember how I saw her she looked weird she was pale and she had her oxygen machine and tank. I called her and asking her if I could come over and you know spend time with her. She agreed and I came over her sister was in the kitchen "hi ms Phyllis" she smiled "hey baby girl" I saw auntie Dee-Dee she was crying. I walked in and sat beside her "auntie are you okay" she nodded but I knew she was lying but I agreed with her. I was talking to her sister and we both heard her coughing (a side effect of the disease) and she was trying to breathe so we rushed to her side her sister in her chair and me on the ground she was on the couch. I was scared because she was weak and I was about to start crying! I didn't but her sister could see the pain I had in my heart she shook her head. I left a little while later and I said I love you auntie she nodded and hugged me "I'll be alright boodie I promise" little did I know that two weeks later that promise would be fulfilled.
That night as I got ready for bed I heard an ambulance and I looked outta the window and my stomach dropped. I saw her being taken away. I cried myself to sleep that night.
