Chapter Three

Skye ran through the building, looking for Hunter. She had a gun in her pocket and her hands out, ready to send seismic waves out in defense. She ran around a corner and gasped. There was someone. Someone standing there. It was Ward. "This is my chance," Skye thought. "I can capture him and give him to Hunter so he can kill Ward."
She ran around the corner and was about to shoot her seismic waves at him when he whipped around and pointed a gun at her. He pulled back the trigger to shoot, and she aimed her hands at him, but they didn't do anything. They just stood there, looking at each other. They stared into each other's eyes like they were seeing a loved one. Ward slowly put his gun down.
"Skye," he said. "How've you been?"
He began walking towards her. She slowly put her hands down and looked at him.
"I should be the one asking you," she said and slowly walked towards him. "Why are you rising up in Hydra? What are you doing?"
"Why are you rising up in Shield?" Ward asked in return.
Then May showed up, she'd run after Skye to stop her, she saw her with Ward, she glared at Ward and wanted to kill him that second but instead pulled Skye away because she saw the cocked gun at his side, "Wait!" Skye said as May dragged her "he didn't shoot me.. He had the perfect chance but he didn't.. Why?" "He's just lying Daisy just like he did before, trying to butter you up to trust him, then he'll shoot. And you'll be too naive to see it coming, come on we're leaving" Skye didn't argue but looked back to see of Ward was still in sight, he wasn't. So she ran with May, they found Hunter, he was pretty beat up, but thankfully alive.
Ward walked back to the other room as Skye was dragged off by May.. "Dang it Grant! Why didn't you shoot?! You didn't shoot the dog, you didn't kill Fitzsimmons and now you didn't kill her. You're weak!" He lectured himself then he called one of his hydra workers "Grab the girl. Do whatever you like with the other two. I want the one with the powers." I want the one with the powers alive, I can deal with her myself." The agent then went after Skye, he found her and May helping Hunter up he shot at May and grabbed Skye, Hunter was weak enough as it was. He then shoved Skye into a dark room. They abruptly took off her handcuffs and thrusted her into the cell. She slammed against the floor and sighed. She slowly got up and felt her uncomfortable gloves. She went over and sat down on the bed in the prison. She looked at the barrier in front of her. Beyond that was where the other person sat to interrogate.
"I wonder who's gonna interrogate me," Skye thought.
Then a door opened on the other side of the barrier. The barrier went to clear so Skye could see through to the other side. She saw Ward walk in and look over at her. A grin spread across his face.
"Boy, have the tables turned," he said while grinning.
"Okay what was that about?!" Skye replied. Don't shoot me just so you can kidnap me later?! What do you want with me?! I'm not gonna join Hydra if that's what you're thinking, torture me all you want Ward!" Ward had stayed quiet with a straight face this whole rant, before saying "Daisy.. I.." He started before she interrupted "Wait.. Daisy?" "Yeah.. Isn't that what you're going by now?" "......yeah... It is... I was just expecting you to keep calling me Skye..." He ignored that comment and said "come on. Follow my lead" softly, he helped her up and led her out the doorway, when they stepped outside he grabbed her arms roughly and dragged her through the hallway.
"Hey boss what are you doing?" A hydra agent asked. "I just put her in the cell."
"She won't answer even to me," Ward answered. "I think she wants more.....pain. So I'm moving her to a different room."
Skye scowled at the agent. The agent nodded and continued walking. Then Ward pulled Skye into another hallway. They walked down the hall until they came to a door that said "Ward's Office." Ward pulled Skye through the doorway and shut the door. He slowly walked over to her and took the handcuffs off. Ward looked down at her. She finally looked away.
How've you been?"
"Good, other then hunting you down," Skye replied with a chuckle.
"Are you sure you're 'good'," Ward replied with a raised eyebrow.
Skye didn't say anything for a long time. "It's just different. Ever since Coulson told me to gather an Inhuman team, I've felt pressured. I almost got one Inhuman on my team, but then he got scared and ran away. Nothing is going my way." Then she looked up, realizing she just spilled her feelings out to him. "But why am I telling you this?!" She exclaimed nervously. "This is just helping you know more about Shield's plans! Coulson's gonna kill me!-"
"Hey," Ward said and put a hand on her cheek. "I would never use you for information. Skye," Ward said, keeping his hand on her cheek. "I'm never gonna betray you or lie to you ever again. I love you."
