Summary:
Eve Rollins' alarm sounds at six in the morning as usual. She runs, showers, and makes herself coffee before turning on the news. One hundred and ninety-nine people throughout the United States have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. What makes this story odd is that they're all the same age; 20. What makes it even odder is that some of the abducted return within 48 hours of their disappearance and don't remember a single thing that has been done to them. Nothing feels out of the ordinary for these victims; no abuse, no marks, nothing.
That is, until they begin to feast on people; draining them of their blood. The ones that are turned by bite, are different than the rest; unintelligent, their humanity completely lost.
As humanity sees a slaughter they never saw coming, a negotiation is thrown into play by The Makers...
They want Eve.
