~Four years later~
"Benny! Scott! How's it going!" James walked in, "Brought in the special: Pumpkin Spice cookies."
"I'm still alive," Scott said.
"But I'm barely breathing," Benny started to sing.
"Shut up with The Script." Scott said.
"Shut up and dance with me!" Benny grabbed James's hand and spun him around as he sang WALK THE MOON.
"Well don't you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me, I said 'you're holding back' she said 'shut up and dance with me!'" James twirled in and grabbed Benny's other hand as they danced around the apartment.
"Will you two shut up?" Scott begged.
"Oh come on, Scott, it's been four years since the accident," James smiled.
"Don't start singing!" Scott glared at Benny.
"So what's pulling on your pants?" James asked.
"Mom," Scott said simply.
"She survived the wreck, what's wrong now?" James sat down in front of Scott.
"She's dying from cancer, it's gotten worse," Scott said.
"Well, that puts a downer on our day," Benny joked.
"Let's just record a song and get it over, 'cause I've got good news," James smiled too widely that Benny thought his face would rip apart.
"Well, we've heard the bad news, how about something good," Benny asked.
"I've got an agent coming down from Michigan to listen to our band to see if she'll publish us," James said.
"What's her name? Is she hot?" Benny asked.
"Why does it matter? We're going to be famous!" James stood up. "This is a cause for celebration! To Belle's? It's on me!"

Tara stood in the airport waiting for her plane to go back to Oregon. The lines were long and this was a last minute planned trip. She was going to visit her family once more because she hadn't visited them for all those years of college. She sat in the coffee shop at the bar waiting for the register line to be empty so she could get herself something. She hated lines. They were everywhere and required patience which she didn't have. Then again the airports were always worse at Christmas time.
Christmas time! The thought hit Tara like a speeding train. Christmas was in one month! She planned on visiting for Christmas but maybe she calculated wrong. She needed to extend this. Maybe she should just move back to Oregon because "home is where the heart is" isn't it? And the only thing that's got her heart is her family. Then there was her dream to travel the world. That had to be taken into consideration. That was where her plans went askew, she planned on leaving in December to London. That had to be delayed quite a while. Maybe later in January.
"Alright, chill out," Tara told herself, "It's only November."
"Now boarding Oregon Airlines to Portland, flight 157," The intercom announced.
"Well, here goes nothing," Tara sighed.
