Haley’s POV
Ugh. I just hate EVERYTHING about this place. I don’t even understand why my family had to stay here after Josh died. Our house is so depressing now. Our yard is dead, plain, and lonely. We haven’t even walked in his room since he died 2 years ago. My parents are depressed and my sister Kenzie hasn’t spoken a word unless she had to since. Today was the day I decided to go see how bad his room has ended up. Even if he isn’t here anymore, I want it to be clean just incase he can come back. I know, I know, dead people can’t come back to life. But you can always hope right?
I can’t do it. I can’t go in there. I know what you're thinking. Just open the door already! Well I can’t. Not like I won’t open it, like IT’S LOCKED. That’s right. I think my parents locked the door. Really who locks a 13 year old’s door? Even if they are dead, you don’t just lock the door. I’ll just have to text Kayla. She’s my best friend, and also a HUGE troublemaker. But from that troublemaking, she does know how to pick almost any lock.

Our conversations are always SO boring over text but I didn’t really want to talk anyway. I just needed help.
