Through The Dark

2. Afternoon

I arrive at Starbucks and enter to see the cute two oceanic, soft blue eyes staring right back into my light brown eyes. He has our drink orders in his hands. Passion Fruit Tea Lemonade Sweetened for me and Iced Caramel Macchiato for him.

"Hey Liam, sorry I was late I got stuck in some traffic." I told him even though I lied.

I should've told Liam that I was held up by the biggest asshole himself Ashton but I just kept it hushed.

"So how was the first day of hell?" He asked me.

"Eh, it was alright I guess. You know the first day of school always sucks and plus I pretty much have easy classes this year. Except for AP Bio which was the only class that really seemed like it would be fun since I love science and that's what I want to major in lol."

"What about you, how was your day?" I asked.

"It was alright sucks that we don't have lunch together this year. But you have 6th period free right?"

"Yeah I do. Hey we should get going to the mall I have some things to do before my mum gets home from work." I say getting up and throwing my empty tea away.

"Alright I'll meet up with you there." He says smiling with his genuine smile as we walk out and head to our cars.

On my drive to the mall I stop at a stop light to see Ashton the asshole making out with some random girl. I roll my eyes in disgust and push down on the gas when the light turns green.

I arrived at the mall at 3:00 p.m. I checked my phone to see I had zero messages.

Liam and I meet in the parking lot of Macy's and walk through Macy's smelling fragrances, particularly the male section because I love the smell of cologne. Liam waits for me outside Pink while I go look for some new matching sets.

I end up running into my other best friend Katherine. She had dirty blonde hair with hazel eyes and had a skinny yet muscular frame since she did Ariel silks. I have known Katherine since I was in the 7th grade, she was in the 8th grade. Therefor she already graduated and is going to Florida State University for exercise science.

"Hey boo bear, haven't seen you all summer!!! I miss you terribly." She says while pulling me into a hug.

"Hey beautiful, yeah I know it's been awhile. But my summer was great I had a lot of college visits but I narrowed it down to 2 choices."

"What about your summer and what are you doing here in New York?" I asked surprised.

"My summer was pretty busy with summer classes. And I'm actually here to visit my number 1 best friend obviously!" She says while giving me her smile.

"So any luck on finding a boyfriend?" She ask letting out a slight giggle.

Liam texts me.

"Hey what's taking you so long?"

I replied with.

"I ran into Katherine and was just catching up on some life. Sorry I totally forgot you were here with me."

Seconds later.

"I thought you had gotten kidnapped or something and I wasn't aware of that it happened haha. Anywho I would love stay and see you try on some clothes for me *winky face,* but I I have to go to soccer practice. My coach apparently wants us to get in more practice this season and since especially it's my last season. Sorry for the long paragraph, but I hope your not mad that I left. I'll take a range check though!"
