Chapter: 4

My eyes flutter open to the, wait where am I, Wheres my room. I sit up and My legs swing off the foreign bed and start to slip into my shoes, but My shoes weren't where I normally put them. What was going on, then I actually look around the room and I wince when pain shoots from my nose.

"Ow," I mutter aloud.

I search the room for my shoes, There next to the door. I start to stand up but pain shoots through my body. I sit back in the bed and lay there. Crystal comes to mind, I wonder how she's doing is she Ok? Who is taking care of her, If they lay a hand on her I'll-. A wave of pain washes over my body. Am I Ok? What did Dryw do to me?

"Hello, Day how are you feeling?" A nurse walked in "My name is Shy and I'll be taking care of you today," She said with a polite smile

"I feel like crap," I said

"I'll perform a quick Healing spell to help the pain and you should be good by tomorrow," She said with a smile.

As she started to chant a blue light filled the room. So she was a Water Element, unlike me I am a Fire Element. But that dosent mean her magic can hurt me more than a Earht Element can. My body was filled with a bliss sensation that chased the pain away. As the sensation fadded the pain returned but not as intense.

"There now you must rest," She said tiredly

She said a short incantaion that put me in a deep dream. I was in a sunny hill side. Off in the distance there was a figure staning there. They had a athletic build and short brown hair. Wait thats Crystal. I start to run towards her I want to tell her how much I love her. Then a building pops up out of nowhere and Crystal is sucked into it.

"NO!" I screamed, my eyes filling with tears

This damn Institute took my parents my brothers, Crystal I promise you I will get you out of here.

I jolted awake. I was still in the SickWard. I glanced at the clock as I slid into my shoes. It was the next day and I still had a hour till I had to wake up

"Hi," Said Shy as she walked in "Are you feeling better?"

"Yes thank you for treating me Shy" I said with a smile " Oh and what happend to Dryw?"

She shook her head "He got 20 Lava lashes for it and he has to be on potrol duty for two weeks and hes been dempted to C-Block"

I smiled with that news "Thank you" and I walked out the door to go greet Crystal.
