The annoying pinging sound of my alarm wakes me to a start at...6 in the morning? Why did I have to set an alarm for so early? Oh, that's right, so I can be first in line to the unisex bathrooms so hopefully I can shower alone. I know that by one point I won't care about it as much as I do now, but I prefer to keep my innocence as long as someone can at a college like this.

"You are not going to be getting up this early all the time, right?" Miranda mumbles from under the blankets and a yawn escapes my lips.

"No, I just wanted time to get in the shower before everyone else does." I explain and a loud groan is heard from her side of the room.

I laugh to myself before gathering my stuff together for the shower.

After showering, thankfully alone, I get myself ready for the day by adding a bit of makeup and curling my hair at the ends to make it look like I actually care. By the time I am done, it is 7:45 so I decide to just head over to Stuart's room early. Hopefully he won't mind.

"I'm heading out. Someone offered to show me around so I'll probably be gone for a few hours." I yell through the room after opening the door and all I hear is a muffled grunt in response. Something tells me that Miranda scheduled to have her classes later so that she could sleep in.

It turns out that Stuart's room is just a couple doors down from mine. I don't know why, but I grow a little bit nervous as I knock on the door but I don't have much time to think of it before I see his handsome face greeting me with a smile. I can't help but smile back.

"Well look who's here! I thought you would've bailed on me." He laughs and playfully messes with my hair.

He seems so comfortable around me already even though we've only known each other since last night. I don't mind it though.

"And why would I do that?" I mock horror on my face and his booming laugher fills the halls before he gestures for me to come in.

As I step into his room, I notice that it looks like what I would imagine a boys dorm room would look like. Clothes scattered everywhere, beer bottles aligning the dressers, and is that weed on the floor? Isn't he afraid of getting caught?

"You want some?" His voice breaks my stare upon the green substance on the floor and I realize he's talking about the weed.

"Oh no, I don't smoke." I politely decline and he chuckles.

"Have you ever tried it?"

I shake my head no and he seems surprised. "How did I guess that you would be the one person who's in college and never tried weed. You're probably a virgin too." He jokes around as if that would be such a crazy thing, but little does he know that I am.

My mind does its thing where it flashes back to a memory from long ago where I almost did lose it, but I quickly blink my eyes to push that thought away. I haven't thought about that in a while.

"Wait, you are a virgin aren't you?" Something on my face probably gave it away.

I don't even have to answer before he laughs yet again and I feel myself growing smaller and smaller. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea coming here, I could've probably found all my classes myself.

"Awe, sweetheart. I don't mean to make it look like I'm making fun of you. I've just never met someone so innocent in college before. I find it extremely cute." He punches my cheek and I immediately blush from his words. I'm going to have to get used to his personality.

He shuffles around for a bit before he grabs a jacket off the floor and looks in my direction with an eager smile. "You ready to go?" He questions, holding his arm out for me to link mine with. I laugh at this gesture but do so anyways and we exit his room.
