I slowly made way to the empty seat next to him and slumped into my chair. I hate English.
"Class, this is our new student, Sadie Patton. Please welcome her!" Ms. Kelley nicely stated. I waved at a few people who turned to look at me.
"Welcome baby," a whisper said near me. I turned to see my stupid neighbor boy inches from my face. I just turned my head back to the front of the classroom.
"Okay class- Braden! Luke! Stop disrupting my class or I'll have you in here after school!" Ms. Kelley shouted, daggers glaring at the boys to my left. Hmm. The mystery neighbor boy is either Braden or Luke.
The rest of the class, the teacher just blabbed on about some "great" new book that was just released the whole Time, until class was finally almost over.
"Okay class, remember your "Who Am I" papers are due tomorrow. 1 paragraph long!" the bell than rang and the class piled out of th room. Let's see, my next class is... P.E.? Great. (note the sarcasm)
I walked down to the gymnasium and found the girls P.E. teacher.
"Hi. I'm a new student. Sadie Patton?" I stated politely.
"Welcome to class! I'm Mrs. Jollies. Here's a uniform." she said handing me a grey shirt that said "DHS" across the front and black basketball shorts. I went into the girls locker room and quickly changed into my clothes. I went back out to the gym to find the boys and girls P.E coach standing infront of all of us.
"Okay students, we are going to be playing dodgeball. Halloway and Willcox, team captains choose wisely." I saw the two boys from my last class walk up to the front of the gym and everyone formed a line across the gym. I met eyes with the neighbor boy and he smirked at me.
"I pick the new girl, Sadie." I gave him daggers and walked up to him and put my arms over my chest.
"Really Braden!?" I heard one of the guys in the line say. Neighbor boy is Braden. Good I'm tired of calling him neighbor boy.
After everyone was picked, we both took seperate sides of the gym and waited for the whistle. When it was blown, everyone ran to the dodgeballs in the middle of the gym and started pelting people. Braden stayed right next to me and dodge every ball that would come my way. He went across the gym to get more balls, when suddenly a ball came right at me. I shielded my face, waiting for the impact that never came, I opened my eyes to see that Braden had caught it right before it knocked me down.
"You're welcome, princess," he smirked.
