"Mr. Garrison, your paper, please?" The teacher pointed his pen towards me and asked me to share the assignment. I stood in front of the class and looked at them with my Heterochromia effected eyes: one sea blue and the other was a stormy grey.

"My father is Elcuard Michael Garrison. He is known for his astonishing accomplishments in science at such a young age. He striked people as a rebellious young man in his adolescent years because he looked quite... Mean. I was shown a picture of him. His face was very pale, around it stood messy dark brown locks with electric yellow highlights. His eyes had a clear sign of Heterochromia iridium, because one was a light green while the other was a stormy grey. He had piercings and a couple tattoos . Heh... You would have never guessed what this guy has done. Despite his looks, he was a very bright and intelligent. He graduated highschool  at the age of 16, and attended Harvard with a scholarship he graduated at the age of 18 and went on for more degrees, during the process, he met my mother Jasmine Holiday, a tall lady with red hair and sea blue eyes. They dated for two years until marrying each other when my dad was 24, my mom 25. My mother immediately became pregnant with me. Soon after having me, my mother tested positive for Leukemia. During that time, my father tried to develop a cure. She lived strong for until I was 7. She didn't die of cancer, but she her leukemia became worse. My dad seems to have found out a cure for it, but it has yet to be tested by anyone other than himself. I currently live with him while my mother is fighting her illness in the hospital."

"That was beautiful, Cason, beautiful." I handed my paper to the teacher and walked back to my desk as people sneered and rolled their eyes at me. "It's not my fault you dumbasses can't write," I mouthed. I sat down and stared into space as others read their papers, I didn't care about their grade, I only cared about mines. After the last person finished, the bell rang. School was finally over. I waited until others went out the door and then rushed out behind them."Cason, wait." I stopped, dead in my tracks. "Yes, Mr.Blaine?"  "You never mentioned in this class that your mother died in a fire." The teacher looked down at me with a concerned look. "I-I know ." And also, I know that I shouldn't get involved in family business, but are you sure your father is taking care of you correctly?" He looked at my extremely pale skin and skinny arms. "C-can I go now?" I asked nervously. He went over to his desk and quickly write down a note. He ripped it off the book and passed it to me. "I want to have a meeting."
"He's not going to be able to come."
"When is he going to be able to come?"
"Never." I said. " May I leave?" He sighed. "Yes you may. Give cthat note to your father."
"Yeah, yeah." I walked out and harshly slammed the door. By my locker, stood my childhood friend, Elliot. "That was amazing, Cason!" He said "You're basically a 15-year old prodigy. It surprises me that thy haven't skipped you yet."
"Please stop..." I took my bags out my locker and looked at Elliot in his face. His light green eyes and small lips carried  a frown. He put one hand over his Light chestnut hair. "Well, sorry..." His face seemed to brighten up a bit. "Hey, after school, we can go to the arcade or something." I turned away from my locker and loosened my face. My lips turned up into a quite unnoticeable grin. "...sure." I whispered. You know that feeling when you try to be mad but then suddenly a person cheers you up. Yeah, that just happened to me. Elliot, I wanted to stay angry, why did you have to do that, I thought. After I finished packing my book bag up, I put my on my black hoodie and slung my red book bag over my shoulder. We waited for the large crowd to exit and then we left.

The arcade was a big building that also doubled as a rec center for kids. Food was pretty cheap, it usually was salt pretzels, nachos, and lots and lots of pizza. That explains the smell of pizza filling the air, inside and out. There was also large amount of children screaming for no apparent reason. Me and Elliot went to the counter and ordered a bunch of tickets. "What're you gonna do, spend the whole Friday night here?" Said the cashier. He scratched his black hair and I swear I saw yellow and brown flakes fall out. We played games like pac-man, guitar hero, and a bunch of other games I can't name. We left at about 11:00 pm. We were there since 3:45. Elliot and I were dead tired. We exited the building. As we were walking, we passed a T.V. shop and we saw a familiar face shining on a long flatscreen. "Dr. Garrison, what made you strive to find the cure for Leukemia?"
"My wife. It was devastating to find out that she had such an illness, so I was mentally pushed to find a cure." Behind him, a door opened, revealing ... Who would've guessed it... My mom. She looked up, smiled, and spoke, "If it wasn't for Elucard, I'd probably be dead." She looked away, "I was only given a week to live.. That was about a week ago. Today was supposed to be my last day, but.... I was saved." She smiled and held my fathers hand. For the first time, in many years, I saw my fathers smile. "I can return home now." My mother said. "And see you, Cason."
