Chapter I

A/n Hey guys! Thanks for reading this story. So for the video (which I don't own) that is the piece you "wrote" for your Fifth Harmony auditions. So imagine it's you playing that guitar like a BO$$! Enjoy!

Y/n P.O.V

Ok I can do this, I can do this. Y/n you are a good guitarist. Just walk in there with confidence! Ok deep breaths here I go. I push the door open and see 5 girls. I know that they are a girl band called Fifth Harmony but I don't know the girls or their music. I just saw a flier saying "Guitarist Wanted" and I really love music and it said that I would be touring with them. And I really didn't want to be a boring 18 year old going to law school because her dad needs the money and forced her to.

"Hi what's your name?" A girl with emerald eyes asks with a heartwarming smile.
"Hi my name is Y/n Y/l/n and I'm auditioning to be your new guitarist."

"What are you going to perform for us?" A brown haired and brown eyed Latina asked me.

"I'll be playing a piece that I wrote myself called Gratitude." I responded as I adjust the guitar strap.

"Whenever you are ready." one of them said. I look down at my guitar...ok lets have some fun shall we? I purposely put the guitar on the wrong side and try to play. It sounds horrible. I look up and they are giving me nervous smiles "Psh silly me its on the wrong side." I laugh and flip the guitar to the right side and start to play.

After I finish, I see them all on their feet giving me a standing ovation. I smile and take a bow and put my guitar back in its case.

Camila's P.O.V

*Before*

"Finally we are done!" I jump up from my chair but I get pulled down mid stretch "Oh no mila we just started." Ally says

"But Ally it seems like the people who come here don't know how to play the guitar. The just came to see us." I explain.

"I know, I know camz but we only have one more left. And I have a good feeling about this one." Lauren says and puts her are around me. Ok if you say so Lauren, here we go.

I hear the door creak open and I look up and see a gorgeous, pretty, cute girl with a guitar. But still damn the things I would to that bod- chill Camila, breath you barely know her.

" Hi whats your name?" I see Lauren ask her. She looks so cute when she is nervous.

"Hi my name is Y/n Y/l/n and I'm auditioning to be your new guitarist." Wow a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.

"What are you going to perform for us?" I smile her just to get her attention.

"I'll be playing a piece that I wrote myself called Gratitude." Oh my goodness she writes too? Can she get anymore perfect?

"Whenever you are ready." Ally says to her. She looks down and I see her taking deep breathes. She starts to play and umm...well I don't know how to say this but umm..at least she is cute right? I'm so mean I know-

"Psh silly me its on the wrong side." She laughs and starts to play and holy cow I am in love. Not really...that would weird cause I just met her.

After she finishes, she takes a bow and puts her guitar away. "You will hear from us soon. We totally loved the song, it was amazing. " Normani tells her and smiles at her. I clear my throat cause I don't like how she was smiling at Mani. "Thanks Y/n. Have a great day." I say trying to be professional. She waves then walks out the door. I jump out of my chair and sit on the table. " Ok so it has to be Y/n right? She is clearly the one! I mean did you see her play? Did you also notice how cute she was when she was messing with us about playing it on the wrong side?"

"Camz, does someone have a crush on her?" Lauren asks while smirking at me. And knowing Dinah of course she would jump at the thought of me liking someone.

"Hoi mila likes who now?" The one and only Dinah Jane said.

"What? No. I don't like her. I don't even know her that well." I try to explain myself but no of the girls are buying it.

"Well I don't know why you don't cause I mean damnnnn." Normani says and I just glare at her. And all the girls just burst up laughing.

"Dinah save me! She is going to kill me with her eyes!" Normani runs behind Dinah and when I ran to her Dinah just simply moves aside. And I tackled Normani "What did you say about my girl? Umm I mean Y/n...I meant Y/n." I get off of her."Yeah Mila you soooo don't like her." Dinah laughs"Ugh whatever." I walk away but stop " We are going to pick Y/n right?" I somewhat beg."Yea we are. She has got some mad skills on the guitar." Normani says "Hey let's call her!""Great idea but Sherlock how are we going to call her when we don't have her number?" I say. Wow when did I become so sassy?
"Hey don't get your panties in a bunch shesh Camila. She wrote it down on her application." Lauren says
Y/n's P.O.V
I hope I did ok. And by the looks on their faces it really looks like I did a good job. After I finished my audition I went home to find my dad and my friends holding a banner saying 'Congrats Munchkin' "How did you do sweet heart?" My dad asks while pulling me into a hug. "To be honest I have no idea I really hop-" My phone rings cutting me off.

Hey is this Y/n?Yes this is. Who is this?
This is Fifth Harmony.
Oh Hey girls what's up?
We have something to tell you.
Umm..ok
We just wanted to tell you that you are our new guitarist! And get ready because tomorrow we have a few meetings and then that night we leave for our Reflection tour!
Oh my thank you! I won't let you down thank you so much! I'll see you all tomorrow!
Ok bye bye Y/n have a great day.

Ok I will thanks again. Bye.

Once I hang up I jump up and down and scream. And my best friend Mackenzie joins me. "Ok girls I don't get why all the screaming?""Don't you get it Mr.Y/l/n? Y/n made it. She is going to be their guitarist!" Mack explains."Yeah dad. I have to start packing because I have meeting in the afternoon and then that night I leave for San Francisco the first place for the tour. I have a lot to learn." I tell them." Oh my lets get you packed up." My dad says walking to my room.
