I straightened out the last plate and silver ware on the table before running up the carpeted steps, down the hall, and into my bedroom. I shut the door and examined my   and hair. I slightly smiled to myself, for once accepting the way I looked. I twirled around in my dress a little before flopping down on my old bed. I looked around the room once again, it seemed to not have changed at all.

"Katie! Company's here!" I hear my mothers voice shout. I quickly stand up and stick a piece of mint gum in my mouth before swiftly opening the door and walking down the white carpeted stairs again. I took a few deep breathes before glancing up, only to have my breath hitch in my throat. There stood Louis, he wore a white button up with Grey trousers, topped off with white suspenders. He looked up and caught eyes with me, his seemed much bluer, and much brighter. He smiled sweetly; the gap between his teeth completely gone. I returned the smile as I landed on firm ground, slowly walking towards him.

"Well, well... If it isn't the goofy Katie Bear. Hmm, I must say, you look quite different." He winked. I chuckled,

"Well I'd hope I look different, the last time I saw you I was a twelve year old, chubby, and dorky girl."

"Not chubby or twelve anymore, but yes, still dorky."He joked. I faked gasped while putting my hand to my heart,

"My, my, still the same ole' Louis." I laughed. He cocked his head to the left and gave me a strange look.

"What?" I asked, lightly tapping my hair and face; wondering if I had something on me.

"No, no," He stopped me and chuckled, "You have an American accent, that's all." He said dumb-founded.

"Well it's not like I've lived in America for nine years or anything." I stated sarcastically. He laughed,

"Now you're kind of the same," He blurted. I knitted my eye brows in confusion. "Well you look different, but you're still the same sarcastic Katie bear." He patted my shoulder; I tried to block out the shiver from his touch.

"Well I hope that's a good thing," I giggled. He smiled,

"It's a wonderful thing." He commented. I blushed a little,

"By the way, you don't have to call me Katie bear..." I muttered. He grinned, his beautiful blue eyes boring into mine,

"You're still my Katie bear." He demanded. I got caught up in the moment, staring into his eyes, and for a brief second I swear time stopped.

"Katie, Louis! Dinner's served." My mom broke the moment by hollering. Louis cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Erm- after you," He offered. I walked into the dinning room to be greeted by the eyes of Louis's family; his mother and sisters smiled politely  I gave a curt nod before joining them at the dinner table.

"So Katie, you recently graduated university?" Johanna asked.

"Yes, I studied writing; well mostly staff writing, in Oxford." I explained.

"Wait, so you write songs?" Louis asked. I nodded happily, I have always loved music; singing.

"That's amazing! Well maybe you could work with One Direction a bit, wouldn't that be lovely Lou?" Johannah urged. Louis smiled widely and nodded his head; I returned a weak smile. How could I have forgotten Louis was in a band; a famous world wide band, mater of fact!? 'One Direction' posters, taxi's, billboards, stores, are everywhere in California! The subject quickly changed,
