Hi, I’m Kasai, am pretty much you’re average girl; I have a beloved pet, a crush, a special necklace, and tones of friends. I love to draw, surf, and ride. There is also the fact that I have a keyblade and wings. I can also fire bend. In the past three years, I have defeated the heartless and Nobodies, traveled back in time, and fought the evil Xainort.
I tell myself this as I lay on the hard ground, trying to conjure up some explanation of where I am. But I am paralyzed with pain unlike any I have felt before. My ears are ringing so I must have hit my head, I probably broke a few bones as well. The last thing I remember I was fighting Venitus alongside Aqua and Ventus.
Through the buzz, I hear what sounds like footsteps. It only sounds like two pairs. A few seconds later they cease. I felt myself being lifted. Then a voice is speaking to me.
At first, I can’t make out any words. It all sound like a bunch of mumbling. But as the ringing in my ears dim, I can hear someone saying, “Her heart is still beating, she’s still alive,” the voice sounded panicked. Then the ringing gets louder so I can’t here the voice. When It speaks again, I can’t make out what it’s saying. I think it might be asking for my name. Yes, it is asking for my name.
I try to open my mouth to say it but no noise comes out. My mouth barely even opens. So I try to put as much of the little energy I have left into telling the mysterious voice my name. At first all that comes out is a dull moan, but I get it out one syllable at a time, “ki…sai…” then, nothing.
