I pulled into the parking lot of my dad's apartment and put my yellow raincoat back on. I grabbed my hello kitty umbrella out from under the passenger's seat andopened it up as I stepped out into the rain.
I rushed to the apartment lobby where I took an elevator to the fourth floor. I grabbed my key out of my pocket and unlocked the door.
My dad was already in the apartment, he was sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Hey honey, want some chips", he said, holding out the bag to me. What was he doing? He never talked to me now all of the sudden he's all "Hey honey, want some chips"
I didnt bother answering him and just stormed off to my room. I put on a t shirt and sweat pants to wear to bed. Then, I tiptoed out of my room slowly to go get something to eat. I was starving.
Just my luck! right as I tiptoed out of my room, my dad happens to walk down the hallway.
"Honey, listen! I just want you to know that none of this is your fault."
"I know dad! I know that none of this is my fault", I said as tears ran down my cheeks.
I stammered before continuing. " I know that, because all of it is your fault! Even mom dying was your fault! You know where she was going at 3am the night of the accident! She was going to return your damn stuff!"
I stormed off to my room and didnt come out for the rest of the night. My dad came to the door of my locked room a little later with a bowl of soup. When I refused to open the door he left it just outside the room. When I was sure he was gone I opened the door quickly grabbed the soup and shut it.
And that was that.
