"What is it?" savannah asked

" I don't know." Cheyenne added

" I think it's a dog!" jasmine said

"Out here in the pouring rain!" me and savannah chorused

"It must be a stray." jasmine said

"What kind do you think it is?" I asked

"I think it's a pit bull!" savannah said

"Aren't pit bulls mean?" jasmine asked

"Not all of them I added a lot of them are actually really lovable." I added

"What should we do?" savannah asked

"Call the pound?" Jasmine asked

"No they'll just put it to sleep!!"me and savannah chorused

Just then the dog started to move. It looked up at us and whimpered. We knew what we had to do.... We had to take it home with us.

"What will mom say about this" savannah questioned?"

"I guess we'll find out." I said while carefully reaching down to see if the dog was aggressive.

It plainly whimpered and licked my hand so I picked it up and started towards home thinking of what mom is going to say.
