I got out of the car. The wind blew my hair wildly around to my face. I quickly tried to control my wild hair, but I failed miserably. Stefan chuckled, pulling some of my hair back away from my face. I shook at the wind hit my spine. Stefan pulled me closer, trying to shield me from the wind. I closed into him, the wind flowing around me, away from me. Slowly, I began to warm up from his heat and his shield. I pulled away and looked up at him. "Thank you." We both smiled at each other. Stefan's hand slowly moved down my arm, his hands connecting with mine. A small smile came across my face as I stared down out our intertwined hands. Stefan playfully nudged me, "Are you ready to go?" I looked up at him. Confusion was on my face. Was I ready to go? Did I want to do this? The thought of sucking fresh blood out of someone mad me hungry. The thirst was more powerful than my conscience. My fangs were trying to push through my gums; they were slowly succeeding. The thirst was making my throat burn, I need blood. I looked up at Stefan and nodded. A huge smile came across his face. Stefan bent down and pecked me on my lips. I shyly smiled at him. Stefan grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the forest.

We ran together, through the bushes and the leaves. Each time we stepped, twigs broke beneath us. Branches from the trees were in front of our faces, we had to duck and run around the branches. The adrenaline rushed through my body. I was having so much fun, why don't I do this more often? We ran faster and faster with each step. Suddenly, Stefan stopped. I saw nothing, and I could not hear anything. Stefan looked around. "Can you hear them?" I listened closely. Nothing. I shook my head. Stefan looked down at me. "When did you turn?" His face was confused, but also curious. "A couple of days ago." Realisation flowed through his eyes. "Ah, I see. You're not fully developed yet. Don't worry; I'll help you get there." Stefan winked at me as he moved me closer to where he was standing. I didn't know why he winked, but maybe I’ll find out soon.

Together, we slowly moved forward. With each step, voices and movements became clearer. Voices of humans in the forest echoed around me; so did their pulse. Our victims were a young male and female couple. They were beginning to pack up. We had to intercept them before they left.  I looked above us, the branches looked firm and they were so many leaves; they humans wouldn't be able to see us up there. I pointed up to the branches to Stefan, he looked up and nodded. He grabbed my arm gently, lifting me onto his back. In no time at all, he jumped up 25ft into the air, and landed quietly on a firm branch. I couldn't help but smile at him.

We watched the humans for 5 minutes. They were about to leave. The female had to walk away from her husband to go to the toilet. A perfect time to kill her. I began to move in the direction that she had headed. I looked back at Stefan. He smiled at me, and began moving towards the male. I knew what I had to do.

I jumped down from the trees when I knew the woman was sitting on the toilet. I waited beside the door; she wouldn't even know I was there. The toilet flushed and the door unlocked. I heard to women take one step onto the dirt, and then I moved in. Quickly, I ran around from the corner and pushed the woman back into the toilet. She tried to scream, but I quickly covered her mouth and sunk my teeth into her neck. The blood poured into my mouth. I hadn't had this much blood since I first changed. I wanted more and more. I dug my fangs deeper into her neck. I heard her wince in pain. I silently laughed in my head. This is so good...so fun...so addicting. The woman let out a small breath, and then her pulse stopped. I pulled away and let the woman drop down to the ground. I stared at her; her lifeless body lay on the floor. I felt nothing though; no regret, no sorrow, no pain. I continue to stare at the body. I somehow felt proud of myself; I have finally killed a human. The blood of the woman flowed through my body. It made me feel warm, happy, and strong. I could get used to this. I heard Stefan walking closer to me. I turned around and walked out of the toilet.
