You sighed. He really did wait for you.
"Anyway, it's nearly time for school isn't it? Why don't we go together?"
"I-I uh, I told you, you're mistaken. I-" He grabbed your hand and pinned you to the cafe window.
"There's no need to lie to me, Maid-chan. I know a lot about you, you know?" He smirked. "And I know from my little friends about what you do with those lewd hands of yours in the library. You can't hide anything from me~"
"W-What?! I don't even-" How could he say something like that to someone he just knew! You never did those kinds of suspicious things either!
"Heheh, and besides, I know you by scent. You can't lie to me"
You gulped. He's a scary man indeed.
You arrived in school safely. Thankfully, the red haired man didn't do anything to you. It was a pretty eventful walk to school. You learnt that he is Laito Sakamaki and that the boy who punched down a wall the other day was his brother, Subaru Sakamaki. You parted ways with him as soon as you arrive in school. You didn't want to spend another second with that pervert. You hope to never see him again. You attended school as usual, but during break, you heard a voice calling out to you.
"You there."
You stopped in your tracks. You feel a firm hand on your shoulder. You turned around abruptly to see yourself facing the white haired boy from before.
"Subaru... isn't it?"
"You're a weird girl. Why'd you stop me?"
I'm no the weird one, you thought. You are, who the hell can punch a hole in wall that easily?' But of course, you wouldn't say that in front of him. God knows what he'd do if you did. "Anyone would do the same thing as I would." You replied instead.
"No they won't. You could've died you crazy woman!" He screamed at you.
You were both angry and scared and you replied back, screaming as well. "Well I didn't have time to think did I! Besides it was the right thing to do!"
He sighed. "Anyway, thanks," he said, walking away quickly. You could see a fluster upon his cheek.
"W-wait! What was that"
"I told you I'd only say it once. Are you deaf?" He said, embarrassed, walking faster.
"No, I mean for what? I didn't save you from detention or anyt-"
He stopped, and you crashed into his back.
"No, it's not that. Just- Never mind." he said, running away.
You stood, baffled.
