chapter one

~Basils Pov~

"Basil! Its time to go you have to go to school!!" My mom yelled... well my foster mom.

"Im coming just a sec!"

"So ur not coming?!"

"What?"

"You just said that you were coming and then you said just a sec that doesn't really make sense."

"Whatever your distracting me!"

"Okay just hurry up if you miss the bus your walking!"

"Yeah okay."

I usually miss the bus but it doesn't really matter considering I have a whole list of people on my phone that I could call and they would just pick me up. I'm really not that popular but a lot of people know my name. My group of friends are basically the same.

-At School-

I was on my way to lunch and I bumped into this guy he was texting on his phone and I was looking down at my feet

"hey watch where your going." I said.

"maybe you should do the same." he said back.

"Whatever." I just rolled my eyes and walked away.

He was tall and had brown hair he had perfect teeth and a perfect smile. His eyes were an amazing bluish whitish color and I cant even tell you about his voice. I think it literally made my heart melt. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. In fact I was the perfect jerk to him... I'm so dumb.

~Hayes' Pov~

I am starting a new school today and I was looking at my schedule for my next class after lunch on my phone. As I was walking I accidentally bumped into some girl and I was going to say I was sorry but then she made a nasty remark. She was pretty... Okay really pretty. She had blonde and brown hair with brown eyes and perfect cheek bones. She looked a lot like my friend Cameron Dallas it was kinda weird as if they were like twins or at least siblings but probably not.

-lunch time-

At lunch some girl invited me over to her table and the girl I bumped into was at it. I decided to take the offer considering there was no other place to sit. Also I wanted to get to know her. The girl I bumped into not the girl that invited me over.

~Basils Pov~

"Quinn please don't invite him over!" I yelled at my best friend Quinn.

"Why you like him."

"Because I was really rude to him and it's embarrassing."

"Just apologize." She said with a serious look on her face.

"Hey you, do you want to sit with us?" She yelled to him as he walked by.

"uh sure." he said sounding hesitant. He came over and sat down next to Quinn who was sitting next to me... so he was awfully close. And then she moved and asked if he could scoot over again sounding hesitant he said "yeah sure." he stuttered a little bit witch was adorable. I think.

"hey I'm Hayes." he said. A beautiful name for a beautiful guy😍.

"uh um I'm I'm Basil." I said stuttering to the point where I literally looked away down at my lap.

"thats a really pretty name."

"your really pretty too, I mean yours it nice too."

I again looked down and my heart was beating 1 million miles an hour. I was sitting there hoping just hoping he would say something else.
