(First person.) Hi, my name is James, I live in a small town, it only housed about, 20 0r 30 people, but work was always on the to do list, I always had to mine for ores for the currency, and for the fuel, my friend "Matthew" was the farmer, he fed the town, I just kept the economy from collapsed, and to keep the city lit, this was during the 18 hundreds, there was a lot of folk lore about, demons coming out at night, witches, and all of that, so they always relied on me for lighting. it was november 9th, it was going to be thanksgiving soon, so we had to work extra hard, but in the process, I fell in love with this beautiful girl but I was still stressed because I thought I didn't have enough time for love, but that was a lie.
(Third person)
James woke up in the morning, he slept in, it was almost noon, 11:47 "Shoot! I slept in!" he got up as quick as he could. the 19 year old ran outside and got a pail of water and he rubbed it on his face so he could clean it, it was always covered in dirt from the mines. he ran back inside trying to find his pickaxe, he finally found it under his bed next to his cabinet next to the bed, he pulls it out and runs into the mine that tunneled into a tall hill. "Where were you?" Haden, a coyote said. "I slept in..." James, a wolf, said. "Well get to work already!" Haden replies, James walks into a branch, and looks for an ideal place to start, he looks near a support beam and sees something that catches his eye, it was something that sparkled, it was a deep blue color, it was a diamond, a decent size. "Oh boy..." the wolf says to himself quitely, he raises his pickaxe and quickily hacks at the stone around it. he made some progress after 7 minutes, as he was making haste trying dig it out. he wipes the sweat off of his fore head with his arm and then continues digging. 4 minutes passed and the diamond was finally out! he kneels down and picks it up, he wanted to keep it for himself. hours passed, it was around 6, he turned out with 9 iron rocks, 2 pegmatite rocks, 3 topaz rocks, and the diamond he found earlier, he was very tired from doing nothing but digging stone, more stone, just waiting to find something good "Well, I think that's good..." Haden the coyote says, James throws the rocks he found into a minecart, but he doesn't throw away the diamond, he walks into his cottage which was built by his parents, his father "Bernard" who lived in a seperate house built by himself, he was a lumber jack, his mother "Mechelle" was a book publisher for the town library, she lives with the father. James stared at the diamond then put it under the covers of his bed and heads to the farm to talk to his friend Matthew "Hello there." James says walking up to Matthew "Oh, there's the guy!" Matthew says laying down a hoe and hugging James "So how's it going?" Matthew asks "Good, I just found really good minerals, but here's the thing, I found a diamond which was the size of my palm and, I don't know what to do with it, I decided to keep it for myself but, what do you suppose I could do with it?" James asks "Ergh, give it to the needy?" Matthew says scratching the back of his head "Yeah but... I'll see what I can do with it." James says "Well, let it be useful, don't make it a waste." Matthew exclaims "I won't." James responds. Matthew picks up his hoe and digs it into the ground and leans on it "Look over there, sir flirt." Matthew says quitely while pointing at a vixen wearing glasses, she has blue eyes and long blonde hair "Who's sir flirt?" James asks "Don't play stupid, you're probably the only one who hits on vixens." Matthew says "Okay that may be true..." James says "It's more than true." Matthew says "Okay, I got to get back to farming, I need to harvest the wheat." He adds "Well, see you later." James says waving then walks away going to his cottage whilst Matthew harvested the crops. James sat on the bed and he pulled out the diamond scratching the back of his head.
