When I got to school I was so happy to see Elizabeth and Harrison. We all said hi to each other and asked each other how we were.
"Can I talk to you in private Cherokee." Asked Harrison.
"Sure no problem" I replied.
Elizabeth winked at me and I started following Harrison, we stopped walking when we entered the school garden.
"So, um there is a disco coming up and I wondered if you wanted to go with me?" Harrison asked.
I was speachless and I released how long I had been frozen with my mouth open. I was so happy.
"Yea sure" I managed to say.
"So I guess...." my phone started ringing and Harrison didn't finish his sentance.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" I said into my phone.
No one answered so I hanged up.
"So what where you saying?" I asked Harrison,
"Oh, it doesn't matter" Harrison replied.
"Ok then."
Later in geography I heard Mackenzi and her friend (Bella) talking about me.
I turned around and said "If you have something to say about me, Mackenzi just say it to my face!"
"I wouldn't waste a word on you stop acting like a peasent and get a life." Mackenzi replied.
I just turned back around and ignored her.
When it was lunch time I saw Mackenzi talking to Harrison while playing with her hair. I went a bit closer and heard her asking Harrison to go to the dance with her."I can't I have already asked Cherokee." Harrison said.
Her face went red as a tomato. Harrison grabbed my hand as soom as he saw me. He pulled me into a closet....
"Cherokee?"
"Yes?" I replied.
"I have always liked you until now the truth is Cherokee I don't like you anymore."
I was so angry and upset I ran out and ran to the girls bathroom, I felt like crying I was so hurt. I heard Mackenzi laughing which made me even more angry......
