You never said good-bye

{Chi’s POV}- Mon. May 21, 2012 (morning)

Tiffany: *energetic speed-walk* Ok, ok. New day!

Mom had sped walked into the kitchen after me and my kids had breakfast. It was now 8 am.

T: Well now that yall ate breakfast it’s time to get some work done.

Semi: *yawns* Aw man I’m tired grandma

T: Well too bad. I’m going to go waking up at the park and I’m going to walk Nala while I do my two hour walk up at the park. When I get back in we’re going to make a list of food that we need to get from the store ok?

Me: yes ma’am

T: Alright, lock up *closes door*

Me: *sighs* FINALLY

Semi: So, does this mean we gotta clean up or what? I’m lost.

Me: Nah, you can watch TV for an hour. Well actually you can go feed the dogs out back first then you can watch TV.

Semi: *excited* YAAAAAY! *hugs chi* Thanks mommy!

Me: you’re welcome.

KJ: mommy, what am I gonna do?

Me: well, sweetie, you can go play with your toys in the TV room while I go get my phone. I went up to the guestroom which was my old room and checked my phone. I had some missed calls from ky. I decided to call her back and see what she was up to.

{Lyn’s POV}- 8th period (afternoon)

I was in my creative writing class bored as hell. Since it was the last week of school there were no lessons being taught. Ms. Hallman, the teacher had brought in Madea’s Big Happy Family for the class to watch for the entire class time. Since I already seen this movie countless times, I decided to zone out. I wish I had an iPod touch so I could DM that mystery person on MB’s account. While dreaming, wishing, and sighing I decided to just take a little nap.

*****Dream Sequence*****

In my dream, I dreamt of roc royal. He had on all black that consisted of a black tee, black pants, and black shoes. He had a nice smile on his face. I was on the other end. Not sure where we were but it was really dark. It kind of reminded me that other dream I had the other night except this one involved my boo. Roc walked up to me and lifted my chin to examine my face. His eyes slowly traveled from my eyes down to my waist as he pulled me towards him and started kissing me. It was nice. After five minutes, he released away from my lips leaving me breathless. Out of nowhere this nigga had the nerve to slap me. I rubbed my scorn cheek in confusion. Where the hell did that come from?

Me: Roc, why did you slap me?

Roc was silent with an angry look on his face.

Roc: *mumbles with disappointment* you never said good-bye

My POV: Good-bye? But I never said hello. Did we meet in a previous life or something?

His eyes had teared up as he ran off in shame into the darkness. I thought to myself, the hell was that all about?

****end of dream sequence***

???: LYNNAE. LYNNAAEEEEEEE. LYNNAE, WAKE-UP!

Me: *wakes up* HUH? WHAT?

Sally: The movie is over. Time to wake up before the bell rings.

Me: Oh, gee thanks.

Ms. Hallman: CLASS MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE? Now, since we only ten minutes to spare, I’ll try to make my announcement brief. I have another idea!

Class: * groans sucks teeth in aggravation* AWWWW MAAAAAANN

Bryan: I hope we don’t have to do any classwork. I mean this is the last week of school before summer vacay.

Adam: yea, and I’m going to baseball camp this summer.

Sally: And I’m going to be doing some volunteer work at a local shelter.

Ms. Hallman: CLASS, CLASS, CLASS!!!! Well, actually that’s a great idea! I have two ideas total. *giggles*

Shelly: OOOOoo what are they Ms. Hallman?

Ms. Hallman: Well boys and girls. I decided to have a class party this Friday, since it’s a half day and---

Class: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! CLASS PARTY!!!!

Ms. Hallman: Now, now, now. I’m not finished. Since I overheard some of you talking about your summer plans, tomorrow I want you to write a one to two page paper briefly talking about your summer plans. I’m eager to know.

Sally raised her hand with glee

Ms. H: Yes sally, what is your question?

Sally: Ms. Hallman, what are your summer plans for this summer?

Ms. H: *smiles* Well sally that’s a great question, as a matter of fact---

*bell rings* DING-DING-DING-DING.

Ms. H: *stands up* Well, that’s the bell. I’ll see some of you tomorrow. Don’t forget your summer plan assignments are due tomorrow and will be read aloud and think about what you will be bringing for class party!!!

Adam and Bryan high fived each other and chanted: PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!

I gathered my knapsack and headed out.
