i shut the door slowly and quietly as i could walking into the house. i didn't keep track of last night so i went pass curfew and slept at the hotel the party was thrown at. 

i'm not sure if my parents or brother know because i haven't gotten a text or anything from either of them, so cross my fingers i make it up there before they see me.

i walked upstairs and tiptoed pass my parents' room whose door is wide open. thankfully, i managed to pull through and make it into my room.

"slick, zyra." a deep voice said, startling me; jack. "real slick." he laughed.

"jack, you dumbass. don't ever do that again." i demanded, holding my chest.

he chuckled and came into my room, sitting on the edge of my bed.

"we're you with sam last night?" he asked me, completely changing his mood.

for a few seconds, i didn't answer. debating whether or not to tell him the truth that i was with sammy last night and he's the reason why i stayed there overnight.

"what do you think?" my mood changed from nice to bitchy, you could even hear it in my voice.

i'm not bipolar, but he should know.

"i think yes." he nodded his head. "stay away from him." he commanded, getting up from my bed and making his way out of my room.

"why?" i asked loud enough for him to hear me.

he came back in and asked me, "when you look at sam, what do you think?"

i didn't know where he was going. i'm really clueless most of the time, and this is one of those times.

his eyes flickered between mine and he knew i wasn't going to say anything. jack shook his head and walked out.

that was a weird moment,but i really don't know what he means.

what do i think when i look at sam?, i questioned myself. i think, nothing can ever go wrong.
