Sometimes all we see in a person is their plain surface. We judge them from their looks, their voice, how they talk, how they behave without knowing who they really are behind that thick wall they surround themselves. Our judgement can be right, but remember, it can also be wrong. Even after we've spent so much time with them, sometimes we still don't know anything about them, we just arrogantly think we do.
Your boyfriend can be a serial killer, lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect time to slit your throat. Your new best friend can be one of the fugitives the police will grant you a large amount of money for their capture. Your bully can be the one who's been sending you flowers just to see the smile lights up your face.
They're like the sea. Calm, relaxing, enjoyable, but you have no idea when it'll hit the whole city with a massive tsunami.
