Chapter 1

                             My Life As Brooklyn Hill

                          Prologue
My life is going so wrong. First my parents decide to move to Los Angeles from New York City which is my favourite city in the world. Also I bet you I will have no friends at my new school, and on top of all of that I will have to go to school at a new school in the middle of the year, everyone is probably working on major assignments since it's the middle of the year and then i'll have to start it when everyone is almost finished ugggg!!!!  Why did we have to move!.

    Oh yeah my name is Brooklyn Hill and I now live in Los Angeles after my what I think is a "TRAGIC" move from New York City. Also I have to switch school to Oceanveiw Secondary and at this point I have 0.0 friends.

    To be honest I haven't really had any real friends since I was 11. I'm kind of afraid to make new friends ; at my old school in New York I didn't have any friends, except the ones i met online. I knew that some of those people that I met online went to my school but I was just too afraid to talk to them in person.
                          The First day:
    "Ring,Ring!! " Went Brooklyn's alarm clock just as her mother ran in. " Time to wake up, Brooke" says Brooklyn's mom as she ran into Brooklyn's fluorescent pink bedroom. As Brooklyn slowly crawled out of bed she suddenly remembers  that this will be her first day at Oceanveiw Secondary. Ever since she moved to L.A she had dreaded this day she never wanted it to come.

    Brooklyn actually thought about it and she thought to herself, " Maybe if I really tried I could make some friends at Oceanveiw?"

After she got dressed , she went to the kitchen to eat breakfast, then to make her lunch for school which contained, a chicken wrap, a container of strawberries, a chocolate dipped granola bar,a caesar salad and a red jammer. Then she cheerfully got on her most comfiest socks and bright pink Nike runners and threw on her salmon coloured hoodie from Aeropostale.

As she waited for the school bus an unexpected individual walked up to the very same bus stop as Brooklyn. During this period of time Brooklyn felt very uncomfortable, she's waiting at a bus stop where she had never been before, then a complete stranger walks up to her out of nowhere. Then all of a sudden the stranger spoke.

"Hey are you Brooklyn?" the stranger said with a curious look on his face. Brooklyn thought this was really weird, she was thinking in her head "How on earth would this complete strage know my name?" But then she thought it would be the polite thing to reply to him. "Yah my name is Brooklyn, how did you know?", at this point the boy had such a faint look on his face,"Well I saw you and your family moving into your house , and one of your parents called out your name to you, and I heard. So yah sorry if that sounds a bit stalkish."Right before Brooklyn's school bus pulled up to the curb she thought she should ask the boy next to her what his name was. She wanted to have a fresh start at Oceanview Secondary, she doesn't want to be known as the girl that had no friends and never thanked to anyone face-to-face. So then she turned towards the boy and said " I was just wondering; what is your name since you know mine?" He replied back with a smile " Oh sorry I forgot to mention it , my name is Shane."

All the children flooded off Brooklyn and Shane's school bus as they were about to enter their school. Brooklyn was feeling very excited but nervous at the same time. She excited because she can have a fresh start and know one will know that she was that shy girl that never talked to anybody, but she also feels nervous because there's always still that chance that she'll start feeling shy all over again and won't have the confidence to talk to new people.

Brooklyn and Shane entered a hallway filled with student ,smoke that may become one of Brooklyn's new friends at Oceanview Secondary. Shane led Brooklyn towards a girl with light brown hair with a medium blonde ombré. " Brooklyn this is one of my closest friends Jayden we've known each other for years and I think you guys would be good friends too." Shane said as he introduced Jayden to Brooklyn. Jayden then said " Nice to meet you Brooklyn ." Brooklyn replied back " Nice to meet you too Jayden, and by the way I love you hair."

As soon as the three new it the period one bell rang. It just so happened that the three were all in the same call for first period witch was instrumental music. Jayden and Shane told Brooklyn that they would show her where the music room was. When they all got there everyone was settled up their stands and putting their music sheets on them. The music the teacher Mrs.Elric called Brooklyn over and said to her ; " Hey you must be new , your name is Brooklyn right." Brooklyn replied back " Yes, yes it is Mrs.Elric." " Okay well have you ever played an instrument and any other school you have been too?" Brooklyn answered by saying " Um yeah I played the clarinet at my last school." Mrs. Elric looked at Brooklyn like an idea popped into her head that she's been waiting to say for a while then she said " You haven't had a tour of the school yet have you ?" Brooklyn said " No, no I haven't " then Mrs. Elric asked the class " Would anyone like to give Brooklyn a tour of our school " then all of a sudden Jayden's hand rose up as fast as the speed of light and she said " I'll do it Mrs.Elric."
