I trudged along the sidewalk, soaking wet behind some tall guy with his umbrella. god. i wish i had an umbrella right now. Why was i in such a rush just to get a latte from Starbucks? i didnt even bother to put a jacket on. i kept walking though. The cold rain soaking through my clothes and chilling my bones. i tugged my cardigan closer to my body, trying to produce some body heat. The rain was coming down harder now and i was freezing. Suddenly the guy that was walking in front of me turned around "wanna share my umbrella?" that voice.... it sounded so familiar... but it couldnt be. not after what he had done to me. i nodded my head and walked faster to catch up but kept my head down. the stench hit my nose faster then i could blink. that cologne... could it be? i looked up at the boy. and my jaw dropped it WAS him. Austin Mahone my ex-boyfriend. its been 2 years since our break-up and i still havent been able to recover since he had dumped me for some slut, who soon dumped him and he was single now. he was looking down at me too and there was something in his eyes that looked different. sadness? depression? shock? yes. shock... he is shocked to see me too. we stood there for a while staring at eachother. sizing one- another up. "your shivering" he said pulling off his leather jacket and wrapping it around my shoulders, i just kept staring at him, he hasnt changed really, same hair, same lips, and same eyes. same personality?
"thanks" i managed to mumble. "so uh... i guess long time no see" he said to me. those hazel eyes locked on mine "um... yeah" i replied looking down at my soaked Toms. "so where you heading?" he asked me, "uh... to Starbucks" i said sadly. "oh! i was heading there too" he said smiling down at me. what was this? he breaks my heart and now hes acting like were bestfriends? i gave him a frown just to show i wasnt buying it. we started walking and a gust of cold wind slapped us in the face which made me huddle closer to Austin. he was taken aback but wasnt resisting and soon he had his arm around me and we were talking like nothing ever had gotten between us.
"im sorry." he said while he set his coffee down "what?" i asked confused. "um.. i was wrong to leave you im sorry i hurt you like that" he said to me looking down at his hands. "oh... um.... i understand why you left me... she was beautiful and she can make you happy in a second" i replied. "no. YOU make me happy just by smiling" Austin said smiling lazily. my heart melted. "please forgive me, Aneesah. i love you. i never stopped. you are the one i want to spend my life with." he said tears springing into his eyes. "oh.... Austin, i love you too and i never thought you would come back for me i mean your famous, and a star and you have all the beautiful girls in the world who love you, and im just a girl. normal, and nothing special" i said sadly. and it was true, im not pretty, im not rich, im just me. plain and nothing special. "but you ARE special. you are to me. when I left you I realized what an idiot I am. YOU make me complete. YOU are the one for me. and I want you to be mine forever" Austin said with actual tears in his eyes. "
And so, Austin and I dated and soon got married and had three beautiful children.
