First date

*Flash back*- continued

Darcy's P.O.V

The rest of the day was a haze, everything happened so fast. I'm actually going out with my first ever crush and within only two weeks of being at this school...How! I don't really know that much about him except he likes music and he's shy; we arranged to meet at our local park, as he only lives a couple of roads away from me, a concoction of nerves and excitement swirled around my head and stomach.

After the final bell I rushed home to find something decent to wear for our first date.

1 Hour later

I found myself walking down an empty street; wearing my Back to the Future top, black skinny jeans and my cherry red Doc's. My hair in a simple messy bun and my make up was very neutral. The park was opposite a beautiful little church on Gordon street, I made a sharp right into the graveyard of past fun, the sea-saw looked lonely and the swings depressed and broken. Sat alone with his guitar parked up next to his feet was the ocean eyed boy, He was also wearing black skinny jeans and a short sleeved blue checked shirt. His back was facing me but I could see he has a pen and piece of paper in his hand and his feet gently tapped the floor in a rhythm. I carefully walked over and stood behind him before clearing my voice politely.

He jumped up and looked straight into my eyes

J: Oh, hey De

I noticed him smiling like a nutter at my top, and for the 10th time today I got lost in his cheesy grin and beautiful eyes. I quickly snapped back to reality to reply to him.

D: Hiya, how are you?                                                                                                                                                                     J: I'm good, mainly very glad you actually turned up.                                                                                                       D: Why would you think that I wouldn't show, I mean we are technically going out with each other.         J: oh it's nothing, just...

When James said that his face dropped and he looked so sad. The cheerful smile vanished off his face and it was replaced with a depressed expression, I've never seen him like this at school its almost alien to me.

J: Sorry, before you arrived here I was depressed, my only two friends live quite far away and well as you guess not many people at school like me. I'm the nerd, the loner, I thought it would me a miracle for a girl to look my way. I'm bullied, pushed around, I've done things I regret. My closest friend is my guitar and the only person I trust is my little brother Chris.                                                                                           D: That's funny, the only person I trust is my little sister Ruby,  I was also bullied at my old school, my music was the only thing keeping me happy. We have a lot in common and its okay to be open about the past.

I smiled to comfort him, watching closely at his memorizing eyes trying to hold back the tears. Seeing him like this made me well up. I'm really falling for him.

2 hours had past, we talked and cried and laughed about all random things like what would we do if we had a delorean and who made the best doctor. Up above the sky turned golden as the sun began to sink into the skyline, it had been a very long day and started to feel the army of yawns coming this way.

James's P.O.V

I noticed Darcy was tired; she looked so cute trying to hold back her yawns. I think the confidence of having a super hot, gorgeous, funny and geeky girl next to me over took me. I casually stretched my arm over her shoulder, but I instantly regretted it thinking she would push me away. But no! Her hazel nutty eyes stared into mine as she snuggled into my warm chest.

I started humming to a melody I recently started to write. I didn't have the lyrics yet, but as my humming got louder the beautiful masterpiece in my arms started to sing

D: I, I'm really falling for you,  I, hate what you're putting me through. What have you done to me now? I just can't sleep at ...

I cut her off in amazement

J: Whats songs that?                                                                                                                                                                       D: Oh its just one I made up in my head                                                                                                                                   J: This might sound cheeky, but would you help me write a song. Its just those lyrics go great this melody I started writing last night.                                                                                                                                           D: I would love to, that would be great!

I saw her yawn from the corner of my eye as we watched the sun go down.

J: Shall I walk you back, Miss?

I said mocking a posher accent.

D: That would be great, Mr Bourne

I stood up, then helped De to her feet. My eyes glued to her petite body shivered as it got colder, and so I handed her my jacket that i kept in my backpack for emergency's; and this was an emergency I couldn't let the girl I love get cold. she smiled to thank me then she grabbed my hand, and in true childlike style we ran out of the park. I couldn't help but fall even more in love with her, her smile as bright as the moon above and her warming hand was the perfect companion as the colder breeze started to bite.

I truly love her!
