thirst

Feeling like human at day

but by night i become something different

a creature of the night

eyes turn gold with red 

almost like a everlasting fire

that never goes out

teeth turn sharp as knives 

hunger sets in 

i lust for something thats a deep

dark red that quenches the thirst i have 

i find my prey i slowly see them 

they dont see me i hide within the shadows

where i belong

i try to hold it back but it wins

i come out of the dark 

up from behind 

then slowly i pierce my fangs into

their neck a silent scream comes out 

but nothing is heard 

the crimson drops gently run down 

i pull away the thirst is gone

to the shadows i return 

dropping them as i go 

awaiting the next night

the beast within comes out again.
