"Boys, I need to speak with you," Lieutenant Song called as he sat atop a black couch located in the lounge area.
One by one, the eighteen human-esque aliens filled the small room as they stood before the Lieutenant. Yongguk and Kris exchanged a glare before they directed their full attention to him.
"As you know, the girls have been kidnapped," the older man began, "but I'm afraid there is nothing we can do to help them."
Daehyun's eyes widened as his mouth fell ajar, "What? What do you mean? Sir, we have to save them! They're counting on us!"
Lieutenant Song shook his head slowly as he threw his hands up in defeat, "I'm sorry boys, but there honestly is nothing we can do. The Lisinians are too powerful; their army is too great! We would be no match against them."
Stepping forward, Suho shook his head, "Sir, we have some of the best soldiers also. You're even looking at some of them as we speak!"
"I will repeat my words and this is the last time!" Lieutenant Song's voice boomed throughout the crowded room as he slammed his fists against the arm of the couch before rising to his feet, "We are not saving the girls! The attempt is too dangerous! Unless you want your friends, possible family members, or even yourselves to die, I suggest you forget about the two Earthlings."
With quick and careless steps, the older man stomped his way to the door, but turned abruptly to face the eighteen faces that all wore the same shocked expression, "And if any of you even attempt to save them, you will be kicked from your planet and face serious consequences."
"So that's it, huh? You're just going to let my girlfriend and her best friend die? I thought you liked them Song? You were so motivated in trying to keep them safe, it seems as though your intentions have changed now, but for a different reason than what you tell us," Lieutenant Song took a few steps out into the hallway, but Yongguk's words caught his attention.
Walking back inside, the older man raised his eyebrows as he stalked his way up to Yongguk. Both of them clenched their jaws as their glares pierced deep into their souls; their fists balled up as they never directed their attention to anything besides themselves.
"Are you talking back to me?" Lieutenant Song asked through gritted teeth as his eyes bore into the younger boy's. "Do you honestly believe that is the best action you should do at this moment?"
A low chuckle escaped from Yongguk's lips as he took a step closer to the older man. In the same tone of voice as his elder's, he replied, "You might as well give me the privelage since you're ruining my life by your foolish decisions."
With those words, Yongguk stepped aside as he began walking; purposely knocking into the elder's shoulder as he did so. A heavy sigh heaved from Luhan as he chuckled from his spot.
"Was it worth it, sir?" He asked; his deer-like eyes suddenly turning fierce as the anger rose in him.
Turning so his eyes were bestowed upon Luhan, Lieutenant Song cocked an eyebrow, "Are you now calling me out?"
The milky skinned boy merely shook his head as he rose to his feet. Locking his hands behind his back, the younger boy took slow and thoughtful steps up to the elder. Stopping a few feet before him, Luhan sighed as he folded his arms, "I know we can save them and I know you are aware of this too, so go ahead and pretend like you can't, but if you think for one second I as well as Yongguk, Daehyun, Kris, and the rest of the pack is going to follow your orders and not save them, you're wrong."
With that being said, Luhan stalked out of the room; the rest of the group following behind him. Sighing, the older man sat in place on the couch once again; his fingers smoothing out his eyebrows as he gently rubbed his temples.
"They'll see," he spoke aloud to themselves, "they'll see why I was trying to protect them."
