Ally’s P.O.V

“Al… Al wake up!” I heard someone saying it faintly close to me. I ignored the person.

“WAKE UP ALLY!!!” That person yelled pulling my blankets off of me. I sat up as quick as possible and looked at who it was.

“WHAT THE HELL ACE! WHY ARE YOU BEING SUCH A … Ace? OMG ACE when did you get home!!!” I yelled happily hugging her as she laughed with me. I pulled away and looked at her; there was something in her eyes that was bugging me. “What’s wrong Ace? Did you have something to say to me? Are you okay? What’s wrong baby girl?” I asked her, and called her how I always called my sisters.

“Oh, Ally!!! Something terrible happened. I didn’t mean for it to happen but when it did I just left. He doesn’t even know about it but I am so afraid that once he finds out he will make me get rid of it.” She said crying to me. I thought about it again and then looked at her.

“Baby girl, are you telling me you are pregnant?” I said still a little bit shocked. She nodded and started to cry all over again. I looked at her, I know I am supposed to be angry and scolding her but I can’t bring my heart to do that to her. She is so scared already, I won’t do that to her. “Baby girl, it’s going to be alright. I am here for you, but what are you going to do now?” I asked her.

“Al, I-I I sold my apartment and I am moving back here. I want to come back to live with you and Vinny. I want to work at the diner with you again. Are you okay with that?” She asked me sounding like a scared little girl. I smiled and kissed her head. “Oh honey of course you can move back.” I told her while stroking her head, I guess she fell asleep. I didn’t even know what time it was until Vinny came running in.

“Geez, thanks for waking me up. I woke up and saw that it was already 10. I’m surprised that you woke up so late. I thought that I was the lazy one. I can’t believe that you and Ace just sat here…” He looked at me and then at her. I think he also realized something was weird because of me stroking her hair. He looked at me again. “What happened? Did somebody hurt Ace?” He whispered to me. I mouthed we’ll talk later. He nodded and then he said, “I’ll make breakfast, and I will also make coffee, but you owe me one.” Smiling he walked out of my room.

I tried moving slowly from under my sister so I didn't wake her up, pulled my blanket over her, and went downstairs. When I got down closer to the kitchen I heard voices. I walked into the kitchen expecting to find one of his buddies. I came to a dead stop as I realized who was sitting at the island.

“Hey Al, have you ever met Tegan? He is Mrs. Anderson’s son. He heard about me being Valedictorian so he came to congratulate me. He offered to take me to school, so if you are busy I can get a ride from him.” Vinny said to me without noticing anything.

So I did I do? Well I acted like a stranger.

“Hello Tegan, I met you yesterday. Do you remember me? How are you this morning?” I asked trying to look clueless. He glared at me a little before he blinked and then it disappeared.

“Hello Ally, of course I remembered you. I am doing very well this morning. What are your plans for today?” He said trying to sound casual. I rolled my eyes and then went to the fridge to get some orange juice.

“Well today I was planning to have a girl’s day out with my little sister. How about you, what are your plans?” I said trying to be polite.

“Well today my girlfriend is coming into town. So I’m going to the airport to pick her up. Then I am taking her to meet my parents.” He smirked at me. I nodded even though I felt as if my heart would burst. I turned my head to where my brother was.

“Vinny, I think you should eat up and start going to school. You are already late and I don’t want you missing anything important.

“Aww, come on Al you know that I am ahead of the whole class. I could miss a whole week and they still wouldn’t have caught up to me.” He said as a matter of factly. I smirked knowing how good my baby brother was. He was always the one that finished his homework before he gets home. I was about to say something when I heard noises coming down the stairs.

“Al, why didn’t you wake me up?” Ace asked sounding sleepy. I turned around a smirked. I know that she is a twenty-five year old woman but I can’t help to look after her.

“Baby girl, I didn’t wake you up because you looked so exhausted.” I told her completely forgetting that Tag was still in the kitchen until he started to talk.

“Vincent, if you are done I will take you to school now.” He said while standing up. Then he walked to me and smiled. Leaning in I thought he was going to kiss me but instead he grabbed my head and gave it a quick peck.
