"Mommy?" Anna was laying in her aquamarine double bed. Light poured into her room as her mother opened the wooden door. Anna's blond hair cascaded down her back as she sat up. "What is it honey?" asked her mom. Anna rubbed her eyes, "It was nothing... I must have been dreaming." She laid back down on her pillow as her mother shot her a worried glance. "Sorry mommy." Anna added just before the door creaked shut. This was the fourth consecutive night that Anna had awoken because of a bad dream. Something was definitely wrong. The question was, what?

At precisely 7:42am, Anna's alarm went off. It was the little Mermaid theme song, playing from her new IPod that she got for her 5th birthday. After she changed out of her Spider-Man pajamas and into the clothes that her mom had set out for her, Anna headed downstairs. As usual, there was a bowl of fresh fruit and a stack of pancakes on the counter for Anna's breakfast. Anna sat down and started devouring the pancakes when her mom entered the kitchen. Her mom had brown hair that was tied up in a messy bun. She wore skinny jeans that emphasized her long legs. A warm beige scarf rested on her pale pink shirt. Anna had gotten the long legs, but instead of the beautiful chocolate-brown eyes and silky hair that her mother had, she had straight blond hair and bright green eyes.

Linda beamed at her daughter. "Ready for school darling? I packed you a special lunch today." her mother gestured towards Anna's sparkly Frozen backpack near the door. Anna nodded and started on her fruit. "Are you almost done sweetheart? We don't want to be late for school!" her mother urged as she wiped the counter. Anna got up and walked over to put on her purple shoes. They didn't match her outfit, but she was 5! Who cared if her shoes didn't match? She started humming Let it go as she picked up her backpack and walked out the door into her garage.

"Have a great day sweetie!" her mother waved as Anna walked into her Kindergarden class. Once inside, Anna and ran over to her best friend Ella. The two girls talked about Olaf for a few minutes until the teacher clapped for their attention. Ms. Eyre explained to the class that today they would be coloring in their number books. All of the children quickly rushed over to their tables to ensure that they got the best crayons. Anna sat beside Ella and they both started coloring their 2's. Anna started out with the green and tried to stay in the lines. After the 2 was nearly completed, she passed the crayon over to Ella and grabbed a royal blue one. "Do you remember when I came to your birthday and we played Barbies?" asked Ella as she started coloring her 2 green. "I was just thinking of that!" Anna laughed with her friend. "Cool!" Ella exclaimed. Anna giggled with Ella and they kept coloring.

Later that afternoon, it was show and share. Anna brought her Elsa doll and was telling the class about how she sleeps with Elsa beside her every night. "She's my favorite." Anna declared. Mrs. Eyre politely applauded and asked Anna to pass her doll around. Anna's classmates could easily picture what Anna did when she played with Elsa. She was delighted that the class enjoyed her doll so much.

"How was school, sweetheart?" asked Linda as she greeted Anna outside of her class. "It was great mommy! Everyone got to see Elsa and they loved her just like me!" Anna grinned as she ran up to her mom and gave her a big hug. They chatted about their days the whole ride home.
