Oli kicked Annie and Matt out of the house because he said that they "need to be active in case of another war." As Matt and Annie walked out the door, Matt grabbed 2 hockey sticks and a puck. "What are we gonna do?" Annie asked Matt.
"I'm gonna teach you how to play hockey." Matt said, tossing the 2nd hockey stick to Annie and dropping the puck on the ground.
"Hockey?" Annie asked, cocking her head to the side.
"What? Do you not know what hockey is?" Matt asked her.
Annie blushed a little bit. "I-I don't..." she said.
Matt walked over to Annie and gently grabbed her hand positioning it on the hockey stick.
"You place your hands here and there and you hit the puck by swinging it."
Matt moved the hockey stick in a way to hit the puck. Annie's cheeks turned pink in the process. Matt let go of her hands and hit the puck towards her.
"Hit the puck back." Annie slap shots the puck towards Matt, he tries to save it but the puck goes under his stick and into the woods. Annie gasps.
"I'm soooooo sorry, I don't know my own strength sometimes!!" Annie apologized.
Matt messed her hair up.
"Hey it's fine, we just gotta go look for it." Matt said, taking the hockey stick out of Annie's hand and setting it on the ground.
"W-We do...?" Annie asked him.
Matt put his sunglasses on.
"You asked to many questions, let's go."
Matt began to walk into the woods, dragging Annie behind him. Dashing into the woods Annie and Matt reached a small opening with the puck in the middle.
"Alright, you stay here. I'll get the puck."
Before Matt can dash out into the opening the bushes rustled and a deer hopped out.
"Matt wait." Annie grabs Matt's collar, pulling him back into the bushes.
Matt glares at Annie. The deer sniffs the puck and nudging it with it's nose before grabbing it with it's mouth and dashing into the bushes again.
"Stay here." Matt says backing away from the opening and dashing towards the log cabin. Coming back with a hunting rifle to the spot where Annie was......but no Annie.
"Annie? ANNIE!" Matt called for Annie but no response.
The bushes rustled again and Annie walked out of them.
"Annie!" Matt shouted walking towards her and pinching her small cow lick on top of her head. "I told you to stay put!" Matt pulled the cow lick a little, making her squee.
"I'm sorry! I had to find the deer!" she started to shake.
"Where's the puck?" Matt asked her, letting go of her cow lick.
"It's right here." Annie dug into the pocket of her white apron and pulled out the puck. "I got it back."
Matt took the puck out of her hand. "How did you get it back?" Matt asked her, putting the puck in his pocket.
"I asked the deer nicely." She said, smiling.
Matt had a confused face on.
"'Asked him nicely?'" He repeated. Annie ignored what he said and began to walk back to the log cabin.
