Kise Ryouta, he worked like clockwork it seems. I would be on my way to school and he would be at the corner about half a mile away from the school waiting for me to walk with me the rest of the way. Next he would come to my class when it was lunch and we would go have lunch somewhere while his fans glared and murmured amongst each other. Finally, I would finish up with my club activities and he would be waiting for me outside the door to walk me home, sometimes helping me with grocery shopping, sometimes getting a snack, sometimes walking me all the way to my home. Then, like always, without skipping a beat, before leaving he would always lean down wearing his goofy, lighthearted, genuine smile and say the same thing:
"I really like you, (y/n)-cchi."
"I-i-idiot! Stop saying that!" was the usual response as I felt my face burn with a mixture of embarrassment, anxiety, and... this odd warmth. It was like a small lit candle in the darkness, a flickering light to guide me. I'd shake the feeling off, this was ridiculous, him saying those things. Doesn't he understand what that means?
We were eating together one afternoon for lunch, this time in a secluded area near the courtyard. Kise would ramble about basketball practice and his modeling and how busy he was on the weekends and how he would like to "hang out" one weekend with me, meaning go on a date.
"Hey (y/n)-cchi," he asked staring at the clouds mindlessly as I sipped at my thermos of tea.
"What?"
"I was thinking, maybe when we get married we should get a house outside of the city and have a quiet life."
Tea was sprayed everywhere as I coughed to try and regain my composure.
"Kise you idiot!"
Rather than be offended, he would just laugh and plan out our lives as I would yell at him to stop.
"You're so cute when you're embarrassed, (y/n)-cchi."
The bell rang just before I could retort and off to our classrooms we went, my heart still beating fast but knowing better than to let my emotions sweep me away.

The sun was now setting and, as usual, he stood outside my clubroom door waiting for me. We walked home, Kise doing most of the talking, telling me about practice and the upcoming tournaments and the like. He always complained I never went to the tournaments to watch me, but secretly I would always go to see him and leave as soon as a winner was announced; he never saw.
"Let's go through here today and get something to eat!" Kise shouted happily tugging me along.
I sighed heavily as he pulled me over to a crepe stand to get something sweet on the way home. Glancing around the area at the different shops a pendent caught my attention. It was a locket showing different constellations using crystals. They were simple but they were cute and rustic.
"Here, (y/n)-cchi." A banana and chocolate crepe was placed in front of me breaking my concentration.
"Ah, thank you," I reply hesitantly as I accept the delicious crepe stuffed with chocolate ice cream, bananas and chocolate drizzle still staring at the pendants.
Kise followed my gaze and smiled pulling me closer to the window. "Ah, (y/n)-cchi you like horoscope stuff?"
"No, I just like constellations," I said as I skimmed over the different constellations.
