REALLY, I MEAN IT.  I'm being serious right now.  There are valid reasons for rating this mature.

This Scömìche story is based on J O'Barr's 'The Crow'. If you haven't read the Graphic Novels, books or seen the original movie you're probably unaware that Brandon, the son of Bruce Lee died during its production. The producers used CG and faceless actors to finish it and released it at a time in my life that I needed it and I'm so thankful they did. Before I discovered PTX, Brandon was the person whose posters were on my wall. He was something special, yes he might have had his start in some pretty awful films, but he was going places before he died on set. If you haven't watched the Crow before you read this, I would recommend you watch just the first one. Yes, it's violent, full of angst, the side of people that the world despises and murder, but it's also full of love, the best parts of someone who loves completely and what it looks like to lose that other half of your soul.

There were other movies made and a one season TV Series.  But...

The original Crow was the most special.

The Crow : City Of Angels (2) and The Crow : Salvation (3) were OK. The Crow : Wicked Prayer (4) sucked serious ass. The Crow : Stairway To Heaven was the TV series and it was pretty good since Mark Dacascos ended up playing Eric Draven, the character portrayed by Brandon in the original. If you want to check out the books they are good too, but the most special are the Graphic Novels created by J.O'Barr. It's personal storytelling of his own loss let out in the characters he put on paper.

I got sucked into the world of The Crow and I'm thankful I did.

Why?

I'm a revenge kind of girl. I prefer vigilante antiheroes to the cutesy goody two-shoes most of the time. Action flicks just do it for me. Some romantic movies work too, but I hate comedies.

I've never done anyone violence but sometimes I believe myself capable of it.

Does that bother me? You betcha. Right now? Not so much.

In the original story, two lovers are murdered on their wedding day/night, the night before Halloween. Called, perhaps fittingly 'Devil's Night'. This is a Scömìche reimagining of that story and while you might be expecting Scott to be the 'Avenging Angel', you'd be wrong. It's all Mitch.
