Aloha! I'm Alexie Drake. ^Thats me. I am from the beautiful state of Hawa'ii. I moved to Oregon when I was six because my mum got a job transfer. She's a pilot and she flies planes for all the big airlines. We live in a great neighborhood, the kind where you don't really have to worry about locking your doors because you know no ones going to come in and take anything. We all watch out for each other.

We have a nice house. It's a little big for just me and my mum. She's gonna most of the time because of her job so it's mostly me by myself. My room is on the left side of the house and our neighbors to the left of us has a room directly across the way from mine. If I leave my curtains open they can see right through. The space between them is a safe jumping distance. My best friend lives there. Her name is Luna, Luna Brown. She has two brothers. One who is my age, and one who's away at collage. Luna is a year younger than me but we've been friends since u was six. The first day I moved to Oregon and we moved into our house, we became friends. We're practically sisters. Her room is the one right across from mine. It's nice because I never really have to close my curtain because we figure what's the point. It's just like we're in the same room.

I am a junior in high school and I play Varsity volleyball and basketball. I have an Irish Setter puppy named Lobo.

Anyways this is my story.

Alexie's POV

"Come on Luna! We're gonna be late for class!" I say scrambling up my books in a hurry, only to drop them again when I crash into Jeremy when I turn around in a rush.

"Woah there Lex. Just slow down." He says helping me pick up my books.

"But I'm going to be late for class!" I reply scrambling up the rest of my books off the floor and taking my other books from Jeremy. Education was very important to me.

"That was just a warning bell. You've got plenty of time." He gives me a funny look. "Are you okay? You seem a little off today."

I sigh. "I don't know. I don't feel good."

He puts his hand on my forehead. "You feel fine."

"She's fine Jeremy." Luna walks up and puts a hand on my shoulder. "Just leave her alone."

He gives us a funny look, still not letting it go.

"Just leave me alone. I'm fine." I pull away from them and walk off to class. Three months into my junior year and it sucks.

I realize I was deep in thought when I feel an arm around my shoulder that snaps me back into reality. I look up and it's Ethan. He's Luna's brother that's my age. He's also Jeremy's best friend.

"Hi" I say half heartedly.

"Hello Miss Alexie." He smiles down at me but I only keep walking. "Hey, I have something for you." He turns, facing me and starts walking backwards in front of me so we're still walking.

"What is it?" I ask, slowing a little so he doesn't have to run backwards.

He pulls a box out of his backpack and hands it to me. I open it and it's 4 jumbo crunch bars, my favorite candy. I look up to thank him but he's already way down the hallway.

Now, I really will be late for class so I decide to ask him about these later.

But I mean that doesn't mean I can't eat them right? It's just what I need.
