"Bye mum, bye dad!" I shouted and waved out the window as the Hogwarts express started off. Once they were out of veiw I headed off to find Albus Rose and Lily.
"Why are we always in the last compartment?" I asked sitting down next to Albus."
He shrugged, so I turned to Rose and Lily hopping they would have an answer.
"It's just always empty, and .. a tradition, no need to fix something that is not broken." Rose repiled and Lily nodded.
"Oh that makes sense."
Even though Rose was a year younger than me, she was much more brilliant, more cunning ad clever. She had helped my study and with homework more often than I would like to admit. She had bright red hair much like her best friend Lily. The Potters and Weaslys were very close and sometimes I felt out of place, but they always did their best to include me. Mr. Potter was like the wizard father I always wanted(not that I didn't love my own father dearly).
"So I heard you got a new broom." Albus smiled.
"Oh did you hear that really? You didn't perchance help pick it out did you?"
"Maybe..maybe not." His bright green eyes twinkled, " It is a very nice broom, my father was a star seeker on the origanal firebolt."
"I know, I've heard many stories about your father." I laughed.
"Hasn't everyone?" Lily sneared, "Yeah yeah our daddy defeted the dark lord blah blah."
I couldnt help but laugh, "Have I ever told you how much i love you Lily?"
"Hmm no.. wait" She smiled, "There was that one time in the dormitories."
We both laughed while Albus looked horrifed. I slaped his arm,
"Nothing like that you pervert!" Lily exlaimed throwing a Burtie Bots Every Flavor bean at him.
"I uh, that's not, er um." He stuttered and turned a bright shade of red.
Lily, Rose and I all broke out in laughter. " Don't worry about it." I patted his leg trying to stifle my laughter.
He mumbled something that sounded like It's not that funny.

By the time all the first years were sorted my stomach was growling, I hadnt eaten anything decet sense breakfast and I did not much care to hear the Headmasters speach. I just wanted to eat.
"And a warm welcome to our Charms teacher, Professer Criss."
Uniterested I clapped along with everyone else, "Can we just eat or..?" I sighed.
"Did you SEE him?" Rose gasped next to me, still clapping.
"What?" I almost turned to look but sudenly there were plates of food infront of me.
"Ah food, about bloody time."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Once I had gotten some food in my stomach I thought it might be a good idea to see this new Charms professer, sense Rose seemed to think he was so great. Which was a little weird because usally the teachers here are ancient. I looked over at the front and scrutinized everyone. Same old same old until my eyes reached the last chair. A young, handsome hazel eyes dark gelled curly haired man sat. I spat out the pumpkin juice I had just taken a sip of onto a poor second year.
"THATS the new Charms teacher?" I yelled turning to Rose.
"Yes." her eyes fluttered and she sighed.
"Merlin he is GORGOUS."
"Gah I KNOW! I'll stay after class with him anyday."
"Me too. Oi."
Aprentely he noticed me staring, because Professer Criss smiled and waved at me. I waved back, in probably the most awkward way ever. He chuckled and turned back to talking to one of the other teachers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"On a scale of one to unforgivable how bad would it be for me to purposley do bad in Charms to get extra help with the new professer?"
Albus looked at me horrified, " Bloodly hell Charlie! A teacher?"
"Whaat he's super cute and probably only like, 25."
"He's a TEACHER. It's just wrong and bloody weird."
"Whateva" I flipped my hair dramaticly.
"You. Are rediculous."
"Oh thank you I know, should'nt you be heading to YOUR common room Potter." I retorted sticking my tounge out at him.
"Mature." He chuckled, "But yes, to the dungons I go!"
I laughed as Albus ran off, then headed for my own common room to meet up with Lily and talk about the new professor.
