Ally's POV
Ready to get on this plane to the middle of nowhere Iraq. Saying good bye to my friends and family. Hell I have spent my whole life here and now I'm on my way to fight for our country and do what my grandfather and my father did and make them proud.
Ally's Mom: Bye sweetheart. I will see you soon. Do us good okay? I love you
Ally: I love you to mom.
Danny: Don't forget that your bestfriend will always be by your side no matter where you are.
Ally: Aw Danny I love you. You the best friend a girl could have.
Over the intercom I hear "All Charlie company 7452 please report to gate 5." That's my cue I got this. Why am I having anxiety now. I will be okay right? Of course I will what am I thinking? I just need to breath, I've gotten this far. I'm good.
Sgt Major Adams: Solders you have made it this far. I'm very proud of you all. Get ready for this next journey in your life. Some days will be hard and some days will be easy. But you all are in this together. You are family from here on out. Good luck soldiers see you in 8 months.
