Chapter One

L A U R E N C E

"Good night Laurence"Aphmau said, smiling.
"Goodnight Lady Aphmau"I responded.
She nodded at me, starting for the exit.
"Hey,"I said, she stopped in her tracks;looking at me,"Get some sleep alright?"
She nodded again, leaving.
I sighed, she's not getting sleep is she?
I collapsed back onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling.Three nights had gone by, when was the last time I spent one sleeping?I kept staring.
Just one last time.
I rose to my feet, pulling my hood over my head.I grasped the helmet on the bed side and pulled it under my arms, creeping towards the trapdoor, opening it, and descending slowly down the ladder.
I made sure to make the least amount of sound every step I took, tensing whenver I made a little creak.
By the time I made it out of the gaurd tower, I made a wild sprint.I forgot about being quiet and careful, right now, I just wanted to see it.
I kept rushing, jumping, and sprinting until I finally stumbled infront of the portal.It was deactivated, the Shale border was the only thing there.
I set the helmet down infront of it, staring at the empty portal.
"Come back, ok Bro,"I said,"Me and her...Aphmau...we all...miss you"
I sighed and shut my eyes,"...Just Defeat Zane"
Turning, I made a sprint back, collapsing into my bed when I finally made it.
As I shut my eyes, I saw something I missed;Me, Aphmau, Garroth all huddled up and laughing.I faded into darkness as the happiness was taken away from me.

A/N:ohhhh gosh I know it's short and cheesy but it was the best I could do at 11:50 P.M. I know I should sleep XD I will after an ep of Game of Thrones ^.^
