CALLISTA'S POV:
After that whole lunch table debacle, Eric had been hesitant of bringing me near his friends again. Even though I reassured him that it was OK time and time again, he still refused to even talk about them. Dylan was a safe topic though, because him and Eric were close and he's done so much for the both of us; he could be trusted.
Eric could get real mad real fast. And especially if it had anything to do with me. It was nice that he cared so much, but sometimes he scared me. He tried his best to calm himself down and I was glad, because he had already earned one strike from Mr. Hills and I didn't want him to get into anymore trouble because of me.

When Eric and I had returned back to my table, he was still fuming to the point where he had dropped my hand and was gripping and shaking his own.
I looked at him from my seat next to him and placed my hands over his. "Eric. Eric, listen to me. It's OK!"
"Not with me, it's not!" he said through his teeth.
"Well..." I searched my brain for something to say that would convince him. "It's not like it's true or anything, though. I like you and only you.'
"Really?" Eric turned his head over and looked me in the eyes.
"Really." I smiled sweetly.
"OK." Eric sighed and all the tension rolled off his body.
Eric started leaning forward and I blushed. We were close enough that I could feel his breath against my face when I heard a voice behind us say, "Well, aren't you just adorable?!"
I pulled back from Eric and looked up to see Niya watching us.
"Hey, Niya." I greeted her.
Eric wrapped his arms around my stomach - causing me to flinch - and nuzzled his face against the side of mine.
Niya smiled and shook her head. She took a seat next to me.
"So, what happened over there?" she asked, wrapping her arm around my shoulder and leaning into me. "I thought you guys were eating lunch with Eric's friends."
I felt Eric's arms tighten around me, sending my insides into a frenzy.
"Yeah, but it got a little too crowded there, so we thought of coming back over here." I lied.
I didn't want to lie to Niya, but I knew if I brought the topic up, Eric would just end up mad again.
"Oh well, then don't let me be a bother," Niya grinned. "I'll see you in class, Cali!"
Before I could protest or tell Niya to forget about it and stay, she skipped off.
"Mm, finally we're alone!" Eric groaned.
"Ha," I leaned my head and body back, letting it rest against Eric's firm chest. "maybe you don't notice the huge crowd of people that's in the caf?"
Eric kissed my head. "When I'm with you, there's no one else I can hear or see around."
I turned around and pressed my mouth against Eric's just like he had done the first time. Eric moaned and I felt my face heating up. I started pulling away when Eric's hands shot up and one grabbed my elbow while the other rested firmly on my shoulder.
"Don't." Eric said, licking my lips.
I sighed and felt myself relax. I was getting used to this. It finally felt right. It was no longer foreign or wrong to me. And I liked it. A lot. So much. Too much, maybe. But, I couldn't stop and I didn't.
I went deeper and farther into the vast ocean that Eric was and when I finally came out, I had no idea where, who, what I was anymore.
A/N: Whoo, finally got a short up & on here. =D Uhh, not much to say about this one, unfortunately.
Um, let me think. So, E & C definitely got closer & continues to do so and E starts to change C, and she doesn't even realize it. Other people definitely will start to figure it out though, like Niya & Dylan, of course, but do you really think she's gonna listen to them?
Especially since Niya hardly ever cared for Cali and already has everything going for her, and is probably nothing but jealous because C is starting to pay more attention to E than her?
And Dylan's nothing but a jerk that not only rejected her but also humiliated her in front of the whole cafeteria and only added to the problems in her life? Maybe he's jealous too of the fact that E spends more time with C than him?
All will be revealed soon enough!! Keep reading till then!! =)
