**Louis's POV**

I looked across the room at him. 'he's perfect' I thought to myself, staring aimlessly at the curly haired boy behind the counter. As soon as my friend walked in I was torn out of my trance. "Hey Lou!" he said in this accent no one really knew.

"Oh hey Zayn," I replied not really knowing what to say. Soon after Zayn came, I went back to thinking about the boy behind the counter, Harry? I think his name was? I've always seen him around school, and it hurts me to think that he gets beat up just because he's gay. I mean I'm gay too, but I'm closet. Only me, Zayn, and my family knows. My family's okay with it, so is Zayn, but to come out in public is just, ooh I don't think I'd be able to. I got the chills just thinking about what could happen. I decided that it was time for me to finally gather the courage to talk to this curly haired boy. I got up quickly, not really looking around at my surroundings and had somehow kicked something. I heard a whimper, that's when I realised it was someone, not something. I quickly turned around and offered my hand to the boy on the ground, he flinched, so I decided I should get on the ground if I wanted to talk to him.

"Hi. I'm Louis, but everyone calls me Lou," I introduced myself. His tenseness seemed to lessen.

"H-hi. I'm H-Harry," he stuttered sounding scared.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I cautiously asked.

He stared back at me, tears brimming his eyes. "P-please just d-don't hurt me," he said, obviously very scared. I went to reach for his hand to help him up, but he pulled away.

"Hey look at me, come on Harry, please look at me?" I cooed trying to calm him. He looked up at me with tears streaming down his face,

"Why? You're probably just gonna beat me up anyways..." he trailed off. All I could do was stare at him and think about how broken he was. It was then and there that I, Louis Tomlinson, was going to offer Harry to my house.

"Hey Harry come on, please just look at me," I sighed. "Harry, I'm not like the others. Listen I've got to go home now, but here's my number, call me or text me if you need anyone to talk to about anything, okay?" I asked as I wrote down my number and got up.

"O-okay, Louis," Harry said on the verge of tears. It broke my heart to see him this way; I knew he was younger, but I looked up to him, literally, but also because he was brave enough to come out, unlike me. 'I'm a coward' I thought to myself. I looked back over to Harry, still on the ground.

"Hey, come here," I said calmly as I tried to pull him off the floor.

"I-I thought you had t-to go...?" he asked cautiously.

"I do Harry, but I want you to come with me," I said, my voice full of hope.

"I-I can't, I have to work," he replied.

I frowned. "Well at least get up for me please?" I asked.

"Alright," he said, his voice slightly pained. As he tried to get up, I instantly saw it wasn't easy. I bent down to help him up,

"Come on Harry, please come to my house with me?" I almost begged, before realising where I was.

"L-Lou, I want to. I really, really want to, b-but what i-if they d-don't like me..." he stuttered then trailed off. He looked back up at me, tears streaming down his face.

"Harry, don't be ridiculous. You're in no position to be working right now. Please come with me Harry?" I asked again only this time attempting to pull him up off the ground.
