"... I'm back."

A pair of inviting arms wrapped around Usagi's small body, the girl happy to be welcomed back to the Hidden Rain in such a cheerful way.

"I was worried, Usagi..." Konan pulled away from the girl, a soft smile decorating her gentle expressing. "A lot's happened since you left."

"... The village is ok?"

The woman nodded. "It's fine. Things have been going on as per normal. You've even received a letter from another village actually, just earlier this morning."

"Did you read it?" Usagi asked curiously. She had been out of the Hidden Rain village for a few days now, feeling much better after having cleared her head. Even if Konoha didn't have a place for her anymore, Usagi was always welcome in the Hidden Rain.

"No, it's on your desk." The two started walking towards the office that now belonged to Usagi. It was a strange feeling for the girl, to have a desk and office... she couldn't yet fully comprehend the fact that she was a leader. Konoha may not have needed her anymore, but Ame did.

Knowing that gave her some kind of pleasantly content feeling. So, even after how poorly things had gone down at the Kage Meet, Usagi felt strangely happy.

And after reading that letter, she was even happier.

Oi, Usagi. It's Tsunade.

Now, Naruto explained everything for the most part, so I know you're working with the Hidden Rain village, but you have still got a lot of explaining to do.

So Tsunade was safe... thank Kami... Usagi's eyes continued to scan the letter which had been written on a scroll that had been sealed securely.

I'm sure you know the five nations are now allies and war is almost upon us. You're the leader of Ame, right? How would you like to join forces with Konoha? You run a ninja village, and so do I. We could use your help, especially with the Forth Ninja War. I won't wait for your reply, I've already sent a team to Ame with documents you need to sign so we can officially become allies.

That reminds me, your boyfriend is annoying. After he found out where you were, he wouldn't stop bugging me... teach him some manners, Usagi.

Usagi smiled. For a business letter, this was awfully casual. Konan noticed the girls smile.

"It's good news?" She questioned.

Usagi nodded. "We're gonna be allies... with the Hidden Leaf."

Konan was overjoyed to hear that. This village, Nagato had cared for it so much, and if he were here to hear that they were allying with such a powerful village...

Change was headed to Ame, a change for the better.

Also, one final thing.
When you come to the Leaf next, fix things over with your teammates. Sakura's depressed, and blames herself for your disappearance, Naruto's worried about you, and Kakashi... he acts fine, but his mind's somewhere else.

Thinking about what Kakashi was going through was something Usagi could barely grasp. He had been about to kill his student, and when he had gone looking for his daughter, she was gone, a note left with the girl he had to take in for interrogation the only sign of her... Perhaps Usagi owed a few apologies to a few people.
