You know your in the wrong line of work when you just start to hate strangers. "Now culinary is all about hospitality!" The chef said to a group of students in the classroom. Now this is your typical outdated underseasoned over riped two-faced chef. But sometimes i couldn't help but care a bit for him. I think time and a lot failures i.e students he became bitter and filled with hopelessness. But when he looks to me he smiles and when he praises me i feel it. And like a good streussel things begins to crumble. "Is it a veloute?" I said looking confused when the chef asked another student what the five mother sauces where. He beamed at me in what i assumed could have had me to my knees if he was like 20 years younger. "Yes! New to this class and already knows whats what!" The other students either looked bored or at me as if i was arrogant. Part of me loved all the attention and well i guess I'm a bit arrogant.
